When Bigelow debuted in WCW was Bischoff trying to do the ECW invasion of WCW angle just like the nWo started where Scott Hall debuted by stopping the match when he debuted.I remember Bigelow saying that he's extreme which obviously states that Bischoff was trying to appeal to the smarks and the ECW fans.My question is that was Bischoff really trying to steal the ECW fans.....or was he ;D trying to promote ECW. (lol) ;D

Doubt it, they just wanted to bring him in and have him be a threat to Goldberg. They didn't really start playing up the whole "extreme" stuff until Sandman came in a few months later.

I remember Bigelow saying that hes extreme after he debuted.Bischoff was planning to sign the WCW guys like Sandman and Whipwreck to start the extreme invasion imo....as WCW was losing the war and Bischoff is a man who loves smarks and wanted to try the invasion without involving the ECW name, but trying to make a small ECW group which would wrestle in the WCW hardcore division. I think Bischoff wanted to show Heyman that WCW Hardcore division > ECW or maybe he wanted to compete with the WWF Hardcore division by using well known ECW guys who were ECW champions at some point in their career.

i doubt bischoff would have wasted his time doing an ecw invasion angle that only 10% (at the most) of his audience would actually get, it only worked so well because he did it with the biggest promotion in the world, the crowd wouldnt care less about getting invaded by some local promotion thats loved by smarks, hell, half the people i discussed wcw with at the time thought guys like hak were new debuting guys

Was McMahon bankrolling Heyman when the kindly ECW folk were going to WCW?

He was just brought in to be a new face for Goldberg.
They attempted to take this concept from the WWF's years long concept of bringing in people for Hogan or the Undertaker.

I really enjoyed Raven, Hak, and Bam Bam's hardcore feud.
