Will he pretty much be the New Edge?
I mean every title win is under dubious circumstances, he loses it in a short amount of time, and then just wins it back again.
What is he, three time champion already?

The title win at Summerslam was clean, well within the context of a Ladder Match.
Taker generally doesn't have long title reigns, so I see it ending either here or at Survivor Series at the latest.

I think the reason for the four-way at Bragging Rights is so Taker can drop it without being pinned while also not having to work a full match by his lonesome. I'm thinking at the moment Punk will pin, say, Mysterio after Batista leaves him lying - we'll see where that goes from there, but I think they'll use a Punk win to set up a possible feud between those two. They just laid it on a bit too thick at Hell in a Cell, and now it's a little too convenient with that promo that the two of them would have a match against each other.

Well, no, but his ladder match World / WWE title matches consist of two losses and two assisted wins, the second of which was after four guys worth of interference.

I think that it's more likely for Batista or Mysterio to pin Punk in the match. Punk is still seen as below the other three, so in WWE's eyes he won't lose anything by taking the fall. Making him a 4-time World Champ in 18 months is silly. He'll pass Flair by Survivor Series in 2015. But setting up a Batista/Punk feud and a slow-burn Mysterio vs. Taker feud for Mania might be in the cards.

Mysterio/Taker mania is absurd. That's the most un-believable match in history. Is rey supposed to be a threat to the streak? It's gotta be Jericho/Taker mania. Nothing else hasn't happened that's possible at this time.

Why exactly does everyone want Jericho / Taker so much, anyway? No, it hasn't happened, but neither has, say, Vladimir Kozlov against CM Punk, and no one's clamoring for that.

I can say with almost certainty that Punk is generally seen as above Mysterio's level, by both WWE and its fans.

I'd actually be genuinely surprised, and sad, if Punk doesn't win it back there.
I'm really expecting it to happen, and it'd would be disappointing if it didn't as I think it would put Punk's credibility firmly on the back foot.
Much more so than one PPV loss to the f'ing Undertaker in a HiaC, of all things.

I always get a laugh when Punk is compare to Edge or talked baout being the new Edge because of the report that Brian Gerwitz (RAW Writer) didn't want Punk on RAW becasue he saw him as a Edge ripoff/wannabe.
Anyway it does seem WWE/Hayes is making him the new Edge and is that a bad thing? Edge is one of the best heels this Decade and has had great feuds with tops stars like Taker & Cena and a good one with Batista. If Punk gets booked like that, I'll be happy.

Punk's billing as a great opportunist should almost guarantee he wins the four-way.

I don´t understand WWE. All of the title changes made no sense what so ever. It should have been like this:
Jeff beats Edge for the WHC Extreme Rules CM Punk cashes in on Jeff becomes WHC CM Punk dqes himself at the GAB against Jeff Hardy
then this should have happend:
CM Punk beats Jeff Hardy at Night of Champions after some screwy finish CM Punk beats Jeff Hardy at Summerslam in TLC CM Punk beats Undertaker after the screw job at Breaking Point CM Punk beats Undertaker at Hell in a Cell after some screwy finish
NOW this match at Bragging Rights makes sense. It should have been like this. Every title change has been absolutely USELESS since Extreme Rules.

We don't need another Edge, one is bad/unbelievable enough.
I really like Punk so it would suck one if they book him like that.

Hopefully "Big" Dave Batista gets his shot at the title then. I hear he really likes them.

There was no sense in making Jeff champ for four weeks, he was over enough anyway and was leaving too. Absolutelty no sense for Taker to get the belt either. You could say, yeah well, you couldn't have Punk go over Taker in the cell, WELL THEN DONT BOOK IT. That title change came from the WWE completely booking themselves into a corner because of their new gimmick pay per views approach. Punk has now had two 6 week reigns this year, hasn't looked good in either, and has looked even WORSE in dropping the belt. twice.
