I would still love to see a DX v Hart dynasty. Its instant money right there. The only thing that makes me not want to see that is the fact that I highly doubt that the Harts would get the Legacy treatment. I can more see this being a throwaway match with DX squashing the Harts, just so Vince can make a point.

Having the Harts and DX go at it would be awesome, they could just constantly tease a Bret hart return, and have him come back at SS or WM to screw DX.

Possibly, but I'd prefer to see the Hart Dynasty build themselves up more first.
I don't know if DX would do, but something like the DX-Legacy feud would. They need a strong face tag team on Smackdown to battle with.

Sure. They could "rule" over both brands, Orton at the helm. It would be a great jump off point for storylines too.
It won't happen because it's such a great idea, though.
Shame.

Why not have Jericho lead the Hart Dynasty, playing up the fact that he was trained by the Harts? Have Jericho lead the Dynasty against Orton and Legacy at Survivor Series. To do this, I'd probably turn Jericho and the Dynasty into faces and keep Orton and Legacy as heels. An alliance between both groups works too. Being a fan for as long as I have, and being a huge fan of both the original Hart Foundation and the new one in the late 90's, I would love to see the Hart Dynasty get a solid push. They do remind me a lot of the original Foundation with Tyson being Bret to DH Smith being Jim. Regardless of what they actually do, I think all four guys, Rhodes, Dibiase, Smith, and Kidd, have great futures. What I wouldn't give though to see Tyson Kidd make HBK tap out to the sharpshooter at a show in Montreal. Okay, I will probably get flamed for two things I am about to say: A. I don't think Jericho should be involved with the Hart dynasty at all. While he was trained by the Harts, he has enough things going on for himself at the moment. And besides, the whole notion of the idea I suggested would be to elevate the Dynasty themselves, Jerich would kind of push them into the background. And besides, I have never joined into the pure Jericho love here on the IWC-he is a great talent, one of the best all round performers, but I just plain don't see why he gets so much hero worship. and B. I really think it would be a rotten idea to go trying to play off the Montreal Screwjob with the Dynasty and HBK now. I do believe they could once in a while drop some references to it to get smark heat. But seriously, can we get past that one? I realize it left a mark on wrestling fan's of the time. It was the ultimate break of kayfabe, and the most infamous backstabbing in the entire business. But it was more than a decade ago. Lets put that one to rest. I actually agree with you on not understanding the intense Jericho hero worship. I like him and I think he's a great performer all around, but I don't see him being on a Hogan, Austin, Rock, HBK, Bret, level. To counter your point though, all the leaders of groups had enough going on without having a stable of their own. Orton didn't need Legacy, HHH didn't need Evolution, HBK didn't need DX, but it made them more over and also got the other guys in the group over as well. Remember before Legacy started, Cody Rhodes was a white meat baby face in a tag team with Hardcore Holly that was going no where. Now he's getting wins and at least competitive matches with DX. Jericho would absolutely bring up the Hart Dynasty to a new level where they would be taken as more of a threat. B. I agree that the screw job is VERY played out and I would like them to get over it, but it would be a nice little nod to the older fans. It doesn't even have to be mentioned on commentary, let people make their own connections to the screw job and that way it's not part of the story. For everyone on here that loved CM Punk's storyline with Jeff Hardy, where he brought up Jeff's drug use, I don't think you can complain about one with the screwjob involved. If there's a real life story behind the storyline that makes it more real, and can draw more fans who want to see it, then why not use it. That's what made HBK vs Bret so great in the first place, you could just tell that they didn't like each other. So I ranted for much longer than I expected, but really I'd just like to see more stables, I feel like they're really lacking in todays wrestling, along with managers and tag teams.
