This is probably been suggested before. But seeing as how there was so much anticipation for the formation of the Hart Dynasty that seems to have died off, and how much praise Legacy has been getting of late, it got me wondering about this. I could see a sort of cross-brand alliance between the two groups. Not really joining to form one giant stable as much as showing respect for each other as all second generation superstars, and occasionally joining forces in a match. In particular, I could see the main event of the next tri-brand show or 3 hour RAW being a ten man tag pitting Orton, Legacy, and the Dynasty against Christian, Dreamer, Cena, and DX. It would be a way to help elevate the Dynasty, perhaps eventually making them the top heels of ECW. And it could make for some fun matches now and then. Anyone agree?

I would still love to see a DX v Hart dynasty. Its instant money right there.

I'd like to see it too, especially as it would make a good survior series team, they may have it too late for that though.

My mistake-my work schedule has prevented me from seeing Smackdown in a few months, so I did not know that the Hart Dynasty had moved to Smackdown. But still, I think a cross brand alliance between them and Legacy could have potential. I could see something like what was going on between Edge+Christian and Angle way back. They are not really a stable together, but they team up regularly and hang out backstage together. I am not so sure about a DX/Legacy feud. I know a lot of people still remember vividly the legendary heat between HBK and Bret way back, but I doubt the majority of the live audience today would understand it. A lot of the younger audience today only know Bret from the DVD's and WWE 24/7. They have probably heard of the infamous Montreal incident, but would not be able to understand the sheer scar if left on the biz. I could see a DX/Dynasty feud, but honestly, it would be a bad idea to make it all about Montreal. They could drop some references to it just to get some smark heart, but don't have them feuding long term purely because of that. It would be better as a remix of the whole Legacy feud-"We're young and hungry, you're old and tired!" kind of thing.

It would work for me.
The Hart Dynasty does need a better push than they're getting, and working with Legacy would help them. Having them go up against DX makes me nervous, though. It's all too likely that they'd use the opportunity for some cheap shots at Bret and his family. Normally, that wouldn't bother me, but doing it when his niece and nephew are involved in the angle would leave a sour taste.
If, however, they could resist the temptation, and, as mentioned above, just play it as young heels vs old faces, then it could be gold. Tyson Kidd against HBK, in particular, could be a damn fine match.

It might actually make the Harts halfway interesting, so go for it.

If this wasn't WWE, where heels barely ever win (minus the top tier), I'd be all for thsi idea. Hell, I'd even add to Colons to the mix so they can act on all three brands.

Glad to see so many agree. Even I can have a good idea now and then.

I don't think an alliance would work but I think Randy is eventually going to turn on Legacy and Hart Dynasty will join Orton and Legacy will turn face.

Well, we know who they are, but we know very little about them personally and we don't really know their motivations. Simply presenting them as Harts can only take them so far.

I would love for that to happen. Though Dx would probaby screw it up or something. I mean i think they can only push one set of team/person a year. Maybe when they reunite next year. But I think it can work. Hell have Jerisho drop the title to the Hart Dynasty so to have them on Raw and have Randy use them or whatever.

It'd be sweet if they did an old school Survivor Series team with them, some name playing off the whole Dynasty/Legacy similarity. Anything long term though, nah.

This is what most people were pulling for from the beginning. Ted Jr. I believe was originally in talks to be part of the faction, this was pre-Teddy Hart-screwup timeframe.

I think an alliance could work, but it would be even better if it quickly turned into a feud. IMO Legacy vs Dynasty can be a great program, and serve to elevate both groups.
Pretty much anything that gives screen time and character opportunities to young, up-and-coming teams is good.

Why not have Jericho lead the Hart Dynasty, playing up the fact that he was trained by the Harts? Have Jericho lead the Dynasty against Orton and Legacy at Survivor Series. To do this, I'd probably turn Jericho and the Dynasty into faces and keep Orton and Legacy as heels.
An alliance between both groups works too. Being a fan for as long as I have, and being a huge fan of both the original Hart Foundation and the new one in the late 90's, I would love to see the Hart Dynasty get a solid push. They do remind me a lot of the original Foundation with Tyson being Bret to DH Smith being Jim.
Regardless of what they actually do, I think all four guys, Rhodes, Dibiase, Smith, and Kidd, have great futures. What I wouldn't give though to see Tyson Kidd make HBK tap out to the sharpshooter at a show in Montreal.

I think Hart Dynasty should be CM Punk's allies, since they just look damn good together, but Legacy vs Harts or teamed with them would both be awesome.

What I wouldn't give though to see Tyson Kidd make HBK tap out to the sharpshooter at a show in Montreal. Okay, I will probably get flamed for two things I am about to say: A. I don't think Jericho should be involved with the Hart dynasty at all. While he was trained by the Harts, he has enough things going on for himself at the moment. And besides, the whole notion of the idea I suggested would be to elevate the Dynasty themselves, Jerich would kind of push them into the background. And besides, I have never joined into the pure Jericho love here on the IWC-he is a great talent, one of the best all round performers, but I just plain don't see why he gets so much hero worship. and B. I really think it would be a rotten idea to go trying to play off the Montreal Screwjob with the Dynasty and HBK now. I do believe they could once in a while drop some references to it to get smark heat. But seriously, can we get past that one? I realize it left a mark on wrestling fan's of the time. It was the ultimate break of kayfabe, and the most infamous backstabbing in the entire business. But it was more than a decade ago. Lets put that one to rest.
