I haven't really heard anything on this in a few weeks..I think? Has anything new come out about this? Or has this been revealed as "newz"?

As far as actually wrestling, I'd say it's the lowest form of NEWZ.
BUT, there might be something to him Guest Hosting a RAW or being like a GM.
Mostly it's just hope and guessing.

Its probably all fake to be honest. Most of the fans who remembered Bret are long gone anyway.

I wasn't expecting anything immediate if it was true. All that was really said was that WWE and Bret were in talks, and I guess Bret probably said no.

I wouldn't be amazed if he came back as an agent, or booker. He has so much to offer in that capacity. But I don't expect to see him on screen on a WWE show.

All the rumor mill said was that they were in discussion on something. But nothing specific. It wouldn't surprise me if the discussions involved the production of another DVD release. The first one was co-produced by the WWE and Bret himself. They released another Flair DVD shortly after the success of the first one. I could see them working together on another Hitman release. Just speculation on my part, but it seems like a reasonable assumption that has yet to be brought up.

The real question is... is he leading the Invasion?

I would much prefer it if the hart dynasty feuded with DX somehow, and bret came back to screw shaun at wrestlemania, the money would print itself.

Possibly this, but like I said when the rumour first came out I'm pretty sure Bret has said in interviews that WWE calls him a couple times a year seeing if he's interested in working with them again. Which is why the rumour comes out every 6 months or so

Bryan Alvarez of F4W on the Wrestling Observer radio show 2 weeks ago said something like Bret recently did an interview where he said something about not having enough money to do a certain project he was interested in (I can't remember what it was). So supposedly, he's having money troubles which could be a reason for him to eventually take over as the permanent Raw GM after Wrestlemania. But I think it was pretty much all just speculation.

Well if Bret is a good Booker, then this would be good.

In one of these discussions over the years somebody said that Bret's health problems obviously left him unable to wrestle, but also more or less unable to have any onscreen role due to being overwhelmed by the crowds (the noise, or the larg crowd itself, I don't know.)
Does anybody know if that's true or something that somebody either got wrong or made up?

Does anybody know if that's true or something that somebody either got wrong or made up? Bret Hart has always seemed a bit uncomfortable with crowds. I don't necessarily means he dislikes people, but he might have always disliked large, raucous (which is what it's going to be, if he comes back) crowds. You can tell through his body language. He tries his best to honor his fans (which is why he doesn't dislike people), but he seems like the guy that prefers to be around only a few people. It's not just his stroke, either. If he was a "crowd" person to begin with, you wouldn't be able to stop someone if they wanted to be part of the crowd. But I think Bret genuinely believes he's retired, even if they found some way to bring back to a near 100%, he doesn't seem to want to be involved all that much anymore. Sure, appearances he can do, but maybe he likes being out of the spotlight.

I am still suprised with all the good matches he has done Bret has not been given another DVd I mean if Flair has got 2 surely Bret should an all. Found this (long) interview in which Bret is asked about him going back to Raw rumours. Other points He also says Bishoff is a pathological liar ;D And that the best thing TNA could do is hang Vince Russo whose writing he considers a disgrace to wrestling. Anyway link here www.brethart.com/appearances/ministry-slam-radio-show-uk-interview
