A bit of wrestlecrap nostalgia. www.141empire.com/141prime/BOSSMAN3RD.htmI can't believe that was all in one year. As much love as most of have for the man, the man's whole attitude run has hilarious wrestlecrap written all over it. Forgot how bad a Bossman (not Big Bossman) match was back then.

Bossman really owned wherever he was. There's few old time wrestlers who's matches I still enjoy today but Bossman is one of them.

i thought that when during the undertaker\randy orton feud before WM21 and they made the video of takers wins at WM, for bossman they showed him hanging....i thought it was one of the most distasteful and most disrespectful thing the wwe has ever done. right up there with katie vick.

for bossman they showed him hanging....i thought it was one of the most distasteful and most disrespectful thing the wwe has ever done. People complained about this when it first happened. I didn't get why then and I still don't now It's not like he died after commiting suicide by hanging himself It's not like he was actually hung by the taker (Hell the article said he showed up the next night) Now.......If the WWE ever released footage of Owen Hart's death from the Over the Edge PPV then I could understand being offended Anyway, Bossman rocked. One of the 1st angles I remember being shocked at was when Nailz 1st showed up and beat the tar out of him, they showed pictures on tv and I was "Jesus H Christ!" Ahhhhh to be a kid again

Bossman turned face when Jake Roberts stole the million dollar belt and put it in the bag with Damien. Ted Dibiase was too afraid to get it back himself so he hired the bossman, who attacked Jake, handcuffed him to the ropes, grabbed the bag and proceeded to the Brother Love set with Ted Dibiase and I believe Slick (wasn't he Bossman's manager at the time?). There Ted Dibiase announced that he paid off the Bossman to get the belt back. Bossman was shocked and said he knew nothing about a payoff and that he was an law enforcment officer retrieving stolen property. To prove he wasn't afraid of Damien, he reached in and pulled out the belt. Then he put it back in the bag with the snake and went back to the ring where he handed the handcuff key to Jake. Thus the Babyface Bossman was born.

Yeah, 1999 was really a big year for the Bossman. He was put into some bad storylines but he was all over the place in high-profile matches. I have to admit, I got a kick out of the whole Big Show storyline. He also won the World Tag Team Championship with Ken Shamrock that year and won the Hardcore belt a few times.
I miss the Bossman. Out of all the wrestling deaths, I felt the worst about his. He really made his gimmick work and he was a pretty decent wrestler for a big guy.

He had the first, and possibly only, legitimate feud over the Hardcore Title, with Al Snow. Unless you count Crash Holly and the Mean Street Posse as a feud.

The Big Bossman was a class act who was willing to do anything the company asked him....The Cobb County Georgia native sure was busy in 1999...Heck he MOVED THE BRIEFCASE in what i felt was a great swerve booking
