TNAWrestling.com has officially given word that the Dudley Boys have signed with TNA. Although not announced for the first edition of Impact on Spike TV, set for October 1, the Dudleys will be making an appearance on an upcoming episode of Impact. The Dudleys, who are officially named as "the tag team formerly known as The Dudley Boys," signed a multi-year deal with TNA. "We see TNA as the future of wrestling," Devon (not D-Von) told TNAwrestling.com. "The NWA World Tag Team Titles are one prize we haven't held yet, so we're both really excited about joining TNA."

But the WWF might have something to say about it.

cant see how, their argument was against a company using another companys name.
Wrestlers are a totally different kettle of fish.

Well seeing as they own the rights to the initials WWF I can see them having a huge problem with it.
Why do you think there's never been a tag team called McDonald's & Burger King?

That's four court cases waiting to happen

I still think they should call themselves the "Heyman Boyz". That would be pretty damn funny, and no one can sue.

so by that logic, marshall mathers or Mars could sue the wwe for MNM because it sounds the same?
Anyway, that was a little off track. My point was, they would be a bunch of fictional characters (also known as wrestlers) as opposed to a multi million dollar company. Do you think the panda people would bother about that. And even if they do it would take a 5 year lawsuit to stop them using the name, by which time they would have retired and the damage to vince would have been done.

If they REALLY wanted to piss off Vince, they'd be Vinny and Kenny.

but the pronounciation is the same.
Remember the david bowie/queen vs vanilla ice case? the music was slightly different but they sounded the same, and VI had to pay out.

Sony once sued a Japanese woman who opened a store with her real last name, Sony.
