Anyhow, I hope to god he's retiring soon. The guy has turned into a complete void of entertainment. His entrances take forever, his promos are all the same generic, fake-voiced nonsense, and now he moves like an old man. Hang it up already.

I'd like to see him turn into the American Badass again, this was the last time I found him entertaining.

I wouldn't be surprised if he becomes the "attraction" character they've wanted him to be. Rare TV matches. PPV mostly.

Just don't give him the strap and I'll be happy.

Well, 2-3 more years matches up with the streak hitting 20-0. or 19-1.
That's kinda how I want Taker to go out.

I think if you destroy the streak u end the undertaker and he deserves more then that because when everyone was running to wcw for a quick cash in, Taker staid at home and was loyal, so if WWE decides to make him lose his streak, they will spit on him IMO.

I want him to go 19-0 in Boston, grab the mic, say "See? THAT'S how you go 19-0!", and then leave. Cut to Tom Brady crying.
I'd be SO happy.

I've said before I think Cena would be an excellent opponent for Taker. Crowd would be molton on each near-fall.
The obvious thing at the moment is that he badly needs more rest and rehab. I hope he drops the strap at the next PPV and does that.
I think he's arguably already been a rarely-wrestling 'special attraction' for a years now.

.
The guy has turned into a complete void of entertainment. His entrances take forever, his promos are all the same generic, fake-voiced nonsense, and now he moves like an old man. Hang it up already.
Apart from 'The American Bad ass Days' is this not how Taker has always been and a huge part of his character? . I believe he should put someone over huge at Mania (what use would it be to WWE if they let him retire undefeated at Mania it is an insane opportunity to put over an up and coming wrestler. I never understood why a lot of fans want him to retire undefeated at Mania.) then retire. I understand the 'when everyone was running for WCW Taker stayed loyal to WWF' argument. However he knew he was far better off in WWF. WCW was stacked with top talent and there was no room at the top for Taker. As they had many stars much bigger than Taker at that time. Taker stayed for a much better and lengthly run as main event (Ministry VS Austin, HBK Badd Blood) and upper card wrestler (feud VS Kane and Paul Bearer against Mankind and coming back as The American Bad ass). I say Taker was very smart about his disicions knew there was no room in WCW for him (Taker could not have taken his character to WCW much like Diesel and Razor). He would have been stuck in mid card with a character very similar to 'Mean Mark Callous' or a Taker rip off. Taker stayed loyal to save his own career and make himself a much bigger star as much as 'to stay loyal to WWF'. Also he got a very good run during 'WWF Attitude Era'.

Not essentially. They had the idea of Orton going over Taker at Wrestlemania 21, and Taker was all for it. It was Orton who didn't want to break the streak. If the Undertaker loses at a Wrestlemania, I'm sure he'll be perfectly fine with it.

Sounds good, I think his character works much better as an attraction instead of the champ/focus of the show he is now.
