Hogan/Austin, depending if you're into Lucha, Rey Mysterio vs. Mistico.
I've also always wanted to see Undertaker vs. Sting

Since Mick Foley is facing Sting at Lockdown, I'm holding out hope for Cactus Jack vs. Abyss.

Sting VS HBK is probably the biggest one and it is the most unlikely to happen with Sting getting ready to retire. He just turned 50.

Eh, you never know... maybe Jeff Jarrett gets his way next year and doesn't resign Sting. This would free Sting up for Wrestle Mania and HBK is always looking for big matches at WM.

There's quite a few that have already been mentioned, but ones that I'd genuinely like to see if they were booked well with a good build and storyline would be:
Rock vs HBK Joe (pre-Joemaga nonsense) vs Cena I actually think Jericho vs. Danielson could be just as fun as Angle vs. Danielson

honestly HBK v RVD overselling goodness that happened one raw just after hbk won the title a few years back, and it was a huge let down.

I haven't browsed through this topic to see what others think (yet) but there aren't very many plausible choices for dream matches anymore. WWE, for some reason, hates building up those dream matches to make us want them that much more. A prime example of this would be Batista vs. Cena last year at Summerslam. Two weeks build and no follow up afterwards. That was one of the few matches WWE had that they could have built up to to make matter. Here's my choices;
-- Randy Orton vs. The Rock; A lot of people want to see Cena/Rock more, but I disagree. Not a bash on Cena at all as I think Cena/Rock would be fantastic. However, a heel Orton vs. a face Rock would be tremendous. Unfortunately, it's doubtful this potential classic would ever happen due to Rock's lack of wrestling involvement.
-- The Undertaker vs. John Cena; Yes, this has been done before. However, the last time we saw this was in 2003 or early 2004 when Cena was still very, very green in the ring. Now, with all of the improvements he's made since then, the match would feel very much fresh and is one of the last true matches WWE has that they could draw some serious money on, methinks.
-- The Undertaker vs. Chris Jericho; I don't think we've EVER seen this match one on one, and with both men on their A-game as they have been for the last year, I think WWE could do fantastic things here. It's a match/feud that they haven't tapped into and I'm glad they haven't because I want it now and when it happens, it will be a true dream match.
-- Kurt Angle vs. Bryan Danielson; This is a classic waiting to happen. I think that this is as close to great WRESTLING as we'll get. If Angle stepped outside the box for a second with his Angle-style match he's been working since 2003 (don't get me wrong, I enjoy it, but I'd like a change from that style with him) I think he and Danielson could truly surpass the expectations that fans had for Angle/Joe. Unfortunately, Angle found a style that works for him, that he's good at and hasn't freshened the act up at all since then. It's still be a really good match I think, but it's a match that's bound to be disappointing no matter how tremendous it would up being.
-- MVP vs. Triple H; Some would probably scoff at this one, but I think that MVP is the next big WWE star. He's got the ring skill, the charisma and I think that these two could do big things in the ring. If WWE keeps MVP grounded, he continues to improve before entering the main event ranks, this match could very well be a classic.
-- CM Punk vs. Triple H; Has still yet to happen. I think the psychology from both men in this match alone would be enough to make this a great match, but in my eyes, is one of those matches that is bound to be disappointing regardless of how great it truly is.
There's probably a few more, but in my eyes, there aren't many.

I also really enjoyed "EXTREME WRESTLING MACHINE" Kurt Angle during his last couple of months in WWE. It was an awesome style, and I wished he cultivated it more. He uses that sort of style in his puro matches, and It's awesome. I guess he's melded into that TNA "arcade pace" style match. I think that a match with Danielson would be awesome, but the matches Danielson would have with HBK and Regal would be much better. I also really want to see Angle vs. Swagger.

I'll agree with you on the Joe/Angle matches. I thought the initial match was really good, the second one was either on par or slightly better, but the ones that followed all were bad. Not bad as in painful to watch, but just really not entertaining.

Also MVP/HHH, screw drivers need to be involved like in HHH/Flair Last Man Standing.
