How exactly did the AA/RKO counter lead to a double pinfall? Did they both have an arm draped over each other's chest Bingo!

While I'll say that it's not the MOTY candidate that a lot of people are putting it over as, it was the best match Orton and Cena have been in together since Summerslam 07. A lot of good spots and I liked the pyro stuff. Dragged in places and a predictable finish but generally quite good.

I justed watched the match and it was GREAT f***ING GREAT! Great storytelling, great buliding up to big spots, just great. Orton facial expression through out the match were great, hell Cena's superman comebackl was great. My MOTY for WWE.

I haven't seen the match yet, but unlike most of you, I DID have high expectations for this match, so I'm looking forward to it.

The match was damned amazing. One of the greatest of this year. Awesome spots, great pacing, and those guys have always had wonderful chemistry in the ring.
Awesome, awesome stuff.

Whether you liked the finish or not that match was so much better than it had any right being. I rate it just under HBK/Taker as MOTY. agreed

It was a great match. No where near MOTY, but it was great anyway.

Fantastic match. Definitely second only to Undertaker/HBK this year.

officialfan.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=WWE&action=display&thread=232136&page=1Good thread to relive this morning, as we praise (or some hate on) this match. I noticed something. It appears to me, just from quick observation, that the people who made up their minds from the get go that the match would suck hated it. The people who thought it would be awesome loved it. I wonder how much of that subconciously happens? If you go into a match expecting to hate it you'll pick it apart and find all the flaws. To the point where you can't actually enjoy it. Same goes the other way. If you're so convinced a match is going to be absolutely fantastic that you will overlook some warts and still praise it because you wanted so much for it to be the (ZOMG BEST MATCH EVAR!!!11). Taker-HBK might be a classic example of that. Kudos to Krimzon who appeared to be the only person who expected to hate it, but then at least changed course based on what he saw. These are just observations, and are in no way intended to call anyone out. I think we're all guilty of this.

In case you didn't get to see it, the WWEFanNation channel on YouTube has 10 minutes of the match uploaded. It's after Cena won the first fall until before the double pin.

Well, I have positive and negative things to take away from the match:
Positive - Both men, as I expected, put on a classic match. - It wasn't boring for a moment. - They had a lot of falls but didn't go overboard - more falls are to be expected mind you given that anything goes, and so the damage caused to your opponent should, in theory be greater. - There was blood which is what this match needed to some extent given the big match that it was hyped as being.
Negative - I hated the finish. Not necessarily anything against John Cena (although I am an Orton fan) but the title changing AGAIN is just ridiculous. Cena is now doing an Edge, having now won 4 world titles in 11 months. In that time, the titles (World and WWE) have changed far too many times. I don't mind short reigns, but not ALL of them should be short! - Didn't like that it went over 60 minutes. Yes, I'm nitpicking, but they shouldn't have stopped to get rid of the blood, whether it's PG or not. The match called for blood. The medical attention took away from the match in some respect. - I'd hoped Cena would go to Smackdown to force the booker's hand in pushing someone on Raw (MVP, Mark Henry, Kofi Kingston, etc.) which now looks unlikely. - To contradict the previous point, I will actually miss the Orton/Cena feud!
So in conclusion I enjoyed probably 99% of the match.

It was a kickass match. Didn't really have high expectations, but it kept my interest.

I think it's the best match I've seen all year, it was better than Taker vs. Michaels. I'm all for heat of the moment/fresh-after-it-happened opinions, but let's not go crazy, people. Hey.....it's what I do man. Might have something to do with the fact that I watched an internet stream of Taker vs. Michaels compared to ordering the show tonight, but I enjoyed this match more because of it's unpredictability and fun factor. HBK/Taker was pretty much a standard counter-filled big move babyface match, really fun to watch but nothing groundbreaking. Orton/Cena was just something completely different.

I was watching this match last night in hopes of putting me to sleep (it was a replay at 3am). Surprisingly it was good enough to keep me up/keep my attention. A falls count anywhere iron man match is a brilliant idea.

Best match ive seen out of Orton in a long time.
And further proof that Cena is far better than most give him credit for

I didn't get to see it, but it sounds like it was a classic. I'll definitely have to check it out in the future, even if 60 minute matches can make me antsy.

Loved it.
One thing I bitch about Cena for is selling, but Cena did a great job this time around. I was wrapped up in the match. Great match, the only thing I didn't like was Cena winning at the end, mostly because him going to Smackdown would have been a good change, and they whore the belts out a lot now.
