My Question is, will they still be willing to work with him if he starts losing fights in MMA?

I would think so. He's still a wrestling talent. If he busts in MMA, it doesn't effect that status.

So is he or isn't he going to be wrestling again?

What a stupid idea
I don't like Lashley but having him randomly appear and then MAYBE keeping him?
Just gonna look stupid if he's done now

They have nothing to lose. He is a name, and he probably will not be going back to WWE. Either he stays and attracts ratings and attention, or he leaves and is a footnote. Not really any downside, if you are TNA.

I just don't buy into this at all. Why waste several thousand dollars to hype someone and have them show up just to point? The six month per appearance deal makes more sense.

If he doesn't wrestle this will be Pacman Jones levels of stupidity (Probably less entertaining too)

If he doesn't wrestle this will be Pacman Jones levels of stupidity (Probably less entertaining too) Pacman Jones couldn't touch anyone, yet he's done 150% more then Lashley has. In 3 appearances, he's come out to stand on the ramp twice, and tonight, walked randomly backstage for a few seconds on split screen during the main event.

But on levels of stupidity.... it was up there. He was tag champ without even doing a single wrestling move (Besides making it rain)

He may only wrestle one or two PPV matches, but I am sure they will get something out of him. Personally I never cared much for Lashley, but if I was TNA I would have snapped him up too. Beyond Batista or Lesnar he is the biggest name big man of the last decade in WWE.

As long as he's built for at least a month and jobs out to someone like AJ... I could see it work

Why doesn't TNA make its wrestlers sign one of those "risk contracts" like pro football teams do? Lashley could get bashed up.

TNA can't get Lesnar, so I guess this is a substitute. They could do worse, but I do agree that it doesn't likely have a chance at drawing much more attention than they normally get.
Remember how Pacman Jones, baseball players, and others made TNA huge? Me neither.

Also, that would pretty much end TNA wrestlers appearing on the indies or in Japan if they tried making that manditory. It'd also probably mean a hell of a lot of guys not resigning unless they got fat raises to make up for those lost paydays.

Well, since TNA books them on the Indy and Japanese shows (or at least they take a decent chunk of their pay from them), it probably wouldn't effect that too much.
