I like how he's regressed to 80's style Savage.
That is all.

As I said in the Impact thread, it's still stale as a 2 week old dog shit.

I like it too.
His promos are great....he has gotten better than just the hoarse voice and a bunch of oh yeahs. He has really mastered Savage's psychology and nutty promo style.
It is a bit stale but still fun to see. Better than seeing Cute Kip or some other TNA crap.

He needed to let his hair to complete the look but otherwise I thought it was great and I still enjoy Black Machismo as is.

As I said in the Impact thread, it's still stale as a 2 week old dog s***. You'e got a dolph ziggler sig. Macho>Lethal>ziggler. Seriously Macho's like Muta. He's so awesome anyone who acts like him is just awesome.

With the new WrestleMania III Savage tights, he needs yellow kickpads over his boots.

I like how he's regressed to 80's style Savage. Really? So the gimmick is regressing rather than getting more neon and cowboy hatish? Interesting.

My favorite thing about Machismo is how he references other 80's wrestlers when yelling at other guys. Like when he kept calling Suicide "Kim Chee" because of the mask. Awesome!

As I said in the Impact thread, it's still stale as a 2 week old dog s***. Agreed. Lethal is charismatic and funny, but the act has just ran its course. It's not even nostalgic anymore, with the Macho Man DVD out now. It's definitely accomplished what it was supposed to do, which was obviously to get Lethal more over with the fans, but the fact remains that it's a cheap comedy gimmick that will never take him higher than the mid-card. I don't see any reason why he can't just be Jay Lethal - good wrestler - and still be goofy and charming without having to parody someone else.

I love the gimmick, but my favorite moment for it so far was when he randomly became Ric Flair instead all of a sudden

Have you ever stopped to think that maybe he just flat out enjoys doing it?
Anyway, I agreed that it was getting old, but that was a year ago. The subtle nuances that he's added to it, the calling of other wrestlers by 80's wrestler names, etc, has given the gimmick a little more life. I dig it.
