As in a guy that's generally known as a "TNA Guy".
Who of them could really have a shot at getting the belt (for either the first time or again) and being the top guy in TNA?

No Robert Roode choice? But I decided to vote for his Beer Money partner James Storm.

Maybe not the next champ, but i'd still like to see Petey come back and win the title in a shocker.

I think it will be AJ. I wish it would be Hernandez, Storm or Roode.

Matt Morgan is not and will not ever be a TNA "homegrown" talent. He will forever be labeled a WWE reject. (IMO, with good reason.)

Matt Morgan is not and will not ever be a TNA "homegrown" talent. He will forever be labeled a WWE reject. (IMO, with good reason.) What reason would that be though? TNA's built him up enough to be an upper-midcard guy. He's got all the tools, he's got the look, and he's pretty darn good on the mic. This was all done in TNA to get him over, he was in WWE for a total of like 6 months TV time wise, as a rookie and then as a stutterring rookie who could F-5 The Big Show. He's grown a lot as a performer in TNA, and I'd consider him more of a TNA guy than a WWE guy considering how much TV time the guy gets. Oh and yeah Morgan, Hernandez, and most likely Abyss will get TNA title shots soon

Well then Joe,AJ and Daniels are ''WWE Rejekts'' too Joe and Daniels were one-time jobbers on Heat. And the closest A.J.'s ever come to working for WWE in any capacity was the WCW buyout. Matt Morgan debuted in WWE twice, both times lasting less than six months. And (again, IMO) I don't think he's improved one bit in TNA. They can talk him up all they want, I don't see anything special. I'd rather see someone like Abyss or Hernandez be the World Champion big man.

AJ actually was another Heat jobber he lost to Hurricane Daniels showed up in a few backstage and played one of the Conquistadores who got beatdown by the Hardyz

AJ has been pushed and kept in the mix the last year. I think he'll be the chosen one

Probably AJ because he never held the official TNA title. I would pick Kaz if he counts, though.

A.J. Styles next.
Matt Morgan (I consider him TNA) eventually.
Hernandez as a dark horse.

Yes Morgan was in the WWE a while and fired, in that respect he was a reject.
But he never got the "I'm a name guy from WWE" push. He started at the ground working as Cornette's assistant and worked up from there.
If Morgan is over it's not because of anything WWE did.
