With all the happenings at Lockdown 1.Dudleys winning titles 2. Angelina Love winning Knockout title 3.The somewhat debut of Stevie Richards 4. The loss of MEM 5. The debut of Bobby Lashley 6.Mick Foley as TNA Champ
Is this enough to get a up in ratings? I think the ratings will improve because of this but might not be up for long. Your thoughts

They might get a brief up, but none the less will maintain ratings around 1.3

They'll keep the course at 1.3, with possibly a few spikes into 1.4 land.

I watch TNA occasionally when I can but i never make it a goal of the night to watch it. I think I might continuously and watch this every week now.

They'll get a spike no doubt but, it all depends on what they do on Thurs. as to whether it lasts or not. I mean, TNA drew me back in the past month and after tonight, I am borderline gone once again but, Thurs. (or Tues. really) will see what I do.

They'll continue to make a snail's pace upwards. By the end of 2009, they'll be at 1.5.

I think they'll steadily be at 1.2-mid 1.3. It's not a high 1.3, its like a 1.33 or something, so they'd have to get what...600,000 new viewers between now and the end of 2009 to get to a 1.4? More if they want to get to a 1.5. I don't see it happening, not this year.

I think it's safe to assume that TNA can do nothing to either gain or loose viewers at this point.

I don't see the ratings going down....they might receive brief higher ratings, but then it will level off to their usual numbers.

It really feels like TNA is at the point where WCW was when they brought in two the "impact players", Curt Henning and Raven. At that time the average wrestling fan was somewhat curious about WCW, but those two really caught people's attention and made Nitro more of a must-watch show.

Wait..when were Henning and Raven ever considered major impacts towards the ratings in WCW? Or maybe my sarcasm meter is broken.

Three letters, DVR, you'll be glad you got one dude. I love mine. They are especially good for wrestling since you can watch it when it's convenient for you a via fastforwarding through commercials, recaps, and crap get through a two-hour show in a little over an hour.

I get the impression no matter how stupid and B level TNA is there is a fan base who will watch them. I will never understand why, but that seems to be how it is. So the ratings will continue to suck and stay the same.

Or that they'll stay where they're at now forever even though the trend seems to be that they're getting somewhat slowly higher.

When you are a Vince Russo fan you can tell when he is writing and when he is not. It is so funny that everyone on message boards will talk bad about him but whenever he is writing the product gets better. WCW 2000, TNA 2002-03, TNA 06, and finally he is back TNA 09.
If you read Jeff Jarretts latest interview you can tell he is finally starting to listen to Vince again, and as long as that happens you will continue to see the ratings rise.
Look how far ahead WCW 2000 was compared to wrestling you have seen for the last few years...
This my friends is your next wrestling boom you have been waiting for, and Vince Mcmahon and the WWE will go out of business.
