Hello everyone! It has been such a long time since I have connected with fans, friends and followers. There is so much to catch you up with and a lot more to unfold. I am very excited with the launch of my network, and soon to come my official site. These sites will allow everyone to connect talk about what I am doing, what Bobby is doing, how our family is doing, wrestling, fitness and so much more. I decided to create this network not only to stay connected, but also to answer the countless fitness, diet and nutrition questions that I get on a daily basis.
All right, here we go!! Well Since leaving WWE in late 2007, so much has been happening. As most of you know by now Bobby and I gave birth to a beautiful baby boy named Myles. My pregnancy was anything but smooth sailing. I went into pre-term labor at 27 weeks, and was bed ridden till 36 weeks. It was very scary. Since this was my first pregnancy I did everything by the book, but like with everything else in life, God laughs at us when we make plans.
At 37 weeks I was induced because the doctors thought my son was measuring too small to date. But they were wrong. On July 5th 2008 we gave birth to a beautiful 5lb little boy three weeks shy of his slated due date of July 31rst . And my life has never been the same.
Before giving birth to my son, I never really worked out and ate pretty much anything, I was young my metabolism was much like a garbage disposal for all of the crap I was putting into my body. But after gaining nearly 50lbs during my pregnancy I really needed to adopt some new habits or the weight was not going to come off. I started off small, walking at first and making healthy choices on the types of food I put into my mouth. Slowly but surly the weight started melting off, but I wasn’t happy still. I went to Bobby one day and told him that I wanted to compete in a fitness competition, to set a weight loss goal to work towards. With his extensive knowledge in nutrition and fitness he helped me change my lifestyle, body and outlook on life. Four months after giving birth to my son, I lost nearly 50lbs and won the title of Ms. Bikini America 2008! Never in my life have I ever felt such a huge sense of accomplishment.
Next I will be competing in NPC Jr. Nationals and entering FLEX’S Bikini model search which the voting is held online, so vote, vote, vote. I will be posting pictures and fun stuff. Also follow me on twitter! I will be tweeting about gossip, fashion, diapers etc!
I am looking forward to help other people transform their bodies, minds and souls. With this site feel free to ask questions and post your stories. I would love to hear how you fell in love with fitness!
Naptime is almost over, until next time!
- Your Diaper Diva (OMG! I can’t believe I wrote that!)
