Maybe I'm crazy, but, to me Taz standing with Joe seems to be a nod to this...or, at least this in non-action figure form: The older former champ tough guy killer leading the new, up and coming monster.

Joe and Taz are more similar IMO Honestly I think TNA Missed the Boat on having Douglas manage Roode to feud with Joe managed by Taz ;D

I see it too... and I really like it, cause he can really help joe in the two places that he kinda needs it, conditioning (if they give him the chance) and most importantly, on the stick. (Taz is one of the best talkers when it comes to the tough guy attitude.)

From what happened last night, it looks like sort of a mix between that... and Taz as the Urn, Joe as the Undertaker. Cause Taz showed up and Joe started no selling everything Sting did and basically killed him. It also makes sense cause Taz is sorta shaped like an urn

Harley Race's action figure sideburns are superior to most real sideburns.

I just hate that they didn't show Taz "advising". They should have shown him, at least, giving orders like Harley Race did for Lex Luger at the Great American Bash '91.
