It just dawned on me the other day that JBL and Ron Simmons are the only former OFFICIAL tag team who can say were both world champions. Are there any other random pieces of information that come to mind that no one has really discussed? And I'm not talking about "have you ever noticed that so and so sucks?" or things that have been more than obvious.

Um.....
Steve Austin was the first guy to win the WWF title with the last name Austin.

Dudes with attitudes (HBK and Diesel) can also say that. As well as the 2 man power trip. (Steve Austin and Trips) Brothers of Destruction (Kane and Undertaker)

Yeah, but those guys were all more or less makeshift tag teams with little longevity. JBL and Simmons were a fulltime team for several years.

JBL and Ron Simmons were not champs of the same company (WWE and WCW respectively)

Evolution is the only stable to have all the team members either former or future champs

This should be fun...(Complete with authors notes from your's truely)
One of the band members who performed DeGeneration X's theme song is Triple H's real life brother. (The Game's brother.. The Book)
Brian Christopher and Scott Taylor were scripted to have a gay marriage as a part of a storyline at a PPV. Jerry Lawler (Brian Christopher's father) strongly objected and the idea was nixed. (I knew it..)
Shane Douglas and Headbanger Mosh have licenses to teach. (Wow... just, wow..)
Kevin Nash played Super Shredder in "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II". (Excuse me while I finish laughing)
Before she married Brian Pillman, Melanie Pillman went out with Warrior. (...)
Scott Hall agreed to be the best man at Justin Credible's wedding but failed to contact him in the weeks before the ceremony and ultimately no-showed. (Straight dissed)
Roddy Piper announced that his last wrestling match would be at WrestleMania III against Adrian Adonis. (And now, WrestleMania XXII is coming up, and we're still seeing a man with a leather jacket and a kilt)
Terry Funk first announced his retirement in 1983. (22 YEARS LATER he's still FUNKin' up the ring! Being a hardcore legend doesn't change the fact that you're 61 years old, Grandpa)
Andre the Giant once downed 119 bottles of beer in one session. (......Well... yeah... but can he do the heel-toe..?)
Sid Vicious once backed down from a fight with Brian Pillman in a hotel bar, retreated to his car to arm himself with a weapon with which to defend himself and returned clutching a squeegee. (Now THAT'S comedy. See? The best stories are true.)
In 1994, WCW used to hire paid models and actors to sit in the audience to cheer and boo their wrestlers because the audience was usually dead during their shows. (-cough- Conway -cough-)
"Hacksaw" Jim Duggan got the idea of bringing a 2x4 to the ring from the original "Walking Tall" movie. (-shrugs- Cool)
The original idea for UPN's SmackDown! was for an all women wrestling show. (...My god..)
Rikishi's brother wrestles using Rikishi's former name, Fatu, in Japan. (WWE would have called him Fat2 or Fake Fatu)
Bill Goldberg's father is a retired gynecologist. (Only posting this because the first time I read it, I scanned through it and didn't see the word "father". My heart almost stopped and I had to read it again. Anything with the words "Bill Goldberg" and "gynecologist" is pure gold)
Hulk Hogan has never defeated Jerry Lawler in a wrestling match. (...And never will)
There. Put that in your pipe and smoke it, Slapnuts!

Hmn...
Rob Van Dam in undefeated in WWE ladder matches.
Randy Savage was the first man to hold both the Intercontinental and WWF titles (I think so, anyway...).

Rob Van Dam in undefeated in WWE ladder matches. Do TLC matches count? Because, if so, he is not undefeated. He lost a Fatal 4 Way TLC Tag Match on RAW with Jeff Hardy as his partner. This was the match that was voted RAW's greatest match at the 10th Anniversary Special.

Pedro Morales was the first wrestler to hold both the WWF title and IC title. WWF title in 72' and IC title in 80' Thanks for clearing that up. I just got onto a track of thinking, "Hey, was Bret the first? No, Warrior. No...Savage?"

Technically though it was the WWWF then wasn't it?

Technically the WWE was the WWWF when Morales was World champ, so if you just consider WWF then Savage was the first

Bret Hart and Ric Flair are the only 2 wrestlers in history to hold the WWF world title, WWF IC title, WWF tag team title, WCW world title, WCW US title and WCW Tag team title
