Okay, why is a Canadian leading a team consisting of an Iranian, some British guys, and Japanese jobbers? This makes no snorking sense, having Canadians and Mexicans (LAX) team up against US would make more sense than this far-reaching but bizarre alliance. yeah I know, At least with Bret, it was an accumulation of months of anger at Stone Cold and the Attitude Era. Last I checked, Canada, UK, and Japan weren't angry anti US countries. Daivari I understand. At least if they each had their own seperate factions it could be seen as pro-whatever country their from. Banding together makes them seem like the gathering of Dorks ganging up to fight the football team.

O and EY looks and sounds like a bastard combination of Brian Pillman and Mr. Kennedy.

Meh.
It's like Jimmy Jacobs revealing himself. Just a big let down.
I really think if they just had it as Bashir, planning it from the start, mostly because Daivari's way better than EY.

Wow, I actually really enjoy something in TNA and everyone else hates it. Go figure. I thought it was a great promo and this is the first time I've cared about Eric Young. I think he's their best heel. I agree, I loved that promo by EY.

Since I started watching TNA about 3 years ago, my least favourite thing has been Eric Young's storylines. The heel turn and alliance with the 'evil foreigners' group may be the best thing that could happen to him. The thing is, I think Young is a tremendous wrestler and enjoy his matches. That whole Eugene-lite gimmick he had was awful, in my opinion.

I didnt care about him when he was supposedly funny and I dont now. I mean I tried to watch the promo this morning but I couldnt and I fast forwarded through it. Hopefully since he's dutch mantels boy Bashir or someone will take over and kick him to the curb as the leader.
Any people who think that x-pac had no business leading a stable should take a long look at serious anti-american eric young.
Big time yawn!!!!!!!

Oh, so no more Japanese guys? Still doesn't explain why EY gets to be the leader, Bashir would really make more sense from an "Anti-American" perspective, but I can't buy a reason why EY got picked over another Russoriffic swerve.

In a logical world, Eric Young is fed up of not getting more of a chance. Instead of blaming himself, he blames management for not pushing him because he's not an American guy. He thinks by aligning himself with a group that faces a much harsher discrimination than he himself, he can make people believe his non-success is due to discrimination.
Eventually, this leads to Eric Young playing the discrimination card one too many times against the other guys who get mad at him. Saying Canadians are just dumber Americans or something... and leading to EY feuding with Davairi.
In a Russo world, this has no point to it other than to fill TV time for the time being. In 3 months when someone is randomly needed to feud with the hot heel before going onto a bigger feud, Eric Young is turned face by saying he's realized the error of his ways and he needs to work harder.
3 months after that feud culminates in EY's losing.. Eric Young is back to being paranoid about being fired.

Not that it doesnt make sense, but, the world elite doesnt look like a fearsome team in TNA with Eric Young as the leader. Here is the guy that gets beat by everyone in TNA including Jeff Jarrett, and this new group comes in, and I'm supposed to take this group seriously with Eric Young as the leader? Anyone on the world elite looks like they can pin Eric Young. Eric Young doesnt look like he can pin anyone in the group.

Me too. I like it a lot better than the Main Event Mafia, which to me is basically a second rate NWO knockoff. The World Elite is actually something a little bit different than anything we've gotten in wrestling in recent years. Really? It seems like an anti American stable shows up every two to five years. How is that a bit different. Other than that I do agree with you though. I'll give this stable a chance also because I like Eric Young and think he is a lot better wrestler than most people give him credit for. I totally agree with the last part. Eric Young is a good wrestler in my opinion.

Eric Young is a very creepy looking and sounding guy. I think he'll make a good heel.

Eric Young is a good wrestler in my opinion. I even say he's a good talker and the problem stems from this stable being formed swerve style without any build. I've no problem with EY at the wheel, but they've given him no reason to be there. IMO now's as good a time as any to do the anti-America thing. So we're not mortal enemies with Britain and Japan, so what? We still have issues; issues that could be easily tied into a wrestling angle. It's not rocket science.

I think Kiyoshi should be the leader, and he should mandate that all members put a red stripe in their hair.

I think Kiyoshi should be the leader, and he should mandate that all members put a red stripe in their hair. Kiyoshi should be the leader. He's the only one that wears a suit. As we all know, suit = leader. Just look at the MEM. Angle is, more often than not, the only one in a suit.

Given he was one of the most over guys in the company for a good length of time, I don't really have a bone to pick with it.
