just think this would make for an interesting topic.
Just something you say, and automatically everyone knows what is it without having to really explain it a lot.
Montreal/screwjob The Kliq/MSG incident 5 moves of doom Over the Edge X pac heat Conway pop MondaY nite War Destructicity JBL/Germany Katie Vick
And so on... I know there's more, but I'm drawing a blank right now.

Most normal wrestling fans will know about the screwjob and the monday night wars. WWE always talks about them.

I'm pretty sure if a large TnA chant started on Raw one day, the majority of the audience would think it's normal horn dog nonsense from the trash in the audience calling out for Divas to demean themselves.

Stiff No sell Buy-rates Backstage politics Nipple H Spot fest The Death of WCW Wrestlecrap
The younger wrestling fans in the family are the smarkest group of kids and every now and then they'll use an internet term. An Example: When one of my younger nephews got a spanking for using a swear word he picked up in school, the kid didn't cry, which caused his brother who was watching this to go "He no sold the spanking!" Ah, the new generation of IWC is born.

Actually I was looking more for the slightly more obscure terms that results from what's happened. Dusty finish for example, rather than standard wrestling terminology like rats, and heel, face. you know stray away from stuff like this: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Professional_wrestling_slangSome of those are hilarious though. Billy Gunn'd - relates to anyone who fails to register an impact despite being consistently given a main event push by the Creative Team and is bumped back down to the undercard. Refers to the push Billy Gunn received for over a year after winning the 1999 King of the Ring. and some I never heard of before like: Batman match - alternate term for a very poorly executed match, with blown spots and showing light. Term takes its name from the 1966-1968 ABC-TV series, which featured bizarre and deliberately silly fight scenes with comical choreography. And can someone explain to me, the significance of: Dave Scherer effect - when big wrestling news occurs when the owner of a wrestling website goes on vacation. Named after Dave Scherer, owner of PWInsider.com

The fingerpoke of doom. Although that could come in the same breath as the death of WCW.
