At this point, I'm guess Buff Bagwell REALLY needs the money. I mean, this guy pissed off Lance Storm. LANCE STORM. That guy is rarely pissed off. Storm seriously considered REALLY locking in the Canadian Maple Leaf on him during a match. Storm has said that he regrets that he didn't do it.

Buff gets a lot of slack for who he use to be, but I've worked Buff a lot over the last year or so and he is really a down to earth guy, and if he did have an ego at one point IMO now he is passed that, and deserves another run.

Will WWE take him up on that offer? I'd imagine an exec in the wrestling biz would say "It's not worth the investment to deal with Buff Bagwell's backstage BS." ........that still accurately applies in this case too, even though there's no money changing hands. |
