Did anyone else think/hope that the TNA wrestlers would make a run for it when the cops showed up? And that there were mass arrests?

Would've been SO easy to have the cops chase the wrestlers backstage, through the Knockouts' locker room, Yakity Sax blaring the entire time.

I would have laughed if at least one of them (most especially Bashir) yelled "CHEESE IT!" and took off.

Gotta love the involvement of law enforcement/security in wrestling. Sometimes you can fight, other times, you can't. At least this was a debacle. I love it when it's just one wrestler trying to engage another wrestler in a wrestling ring and security shows up. "Whoa, whoa, whoa."

yet when a wrestler gets beat down by his tag team partner, referees show up too late, and one referee just yells stop.
This is why wrestling needs bigger referees

James Storm was probably arrested for public intoxication. Roode might have gone with him and that's they didn't come out at the end.

I really wanted a backstage segment with either Cornette or some authority figure having to create a bunch of replacement matches for the show (mostly involving the Knockouts) because most of the male roster has been arrested or escorted from the building.

That actually would have been kinda cool.

It was a good segment but for the wrong reasons. Something like that is not supposed to come off as comedy and it did.

Agreed, there; would've built up the chaotic nature of it more.

They should have gone to commercial once the cops came and then once they came back they should have had Scott Steiner on top of one of the cop cars swinging his pogo stick at them telling them to back up.
