So I started thinking, that AJ Styles and Chris Daniels do NOT cut it as the top faces against the MEM. This has all to do with their size, Matt Morgan exploited his size difference in taking out Daniels and Styles.
Matt Morgan and Hernandez are going to be the 2 guys backing Foley, Sting, and Lashley in taking out the MEM, and I think more people will find it believable that a 7 foot monster and a chain swinging Super Mex will take out the mafia.
Heck if they finally get serious about Abyss he could add a ton to that forefront.

Hernandez looked silly swinging the chain over his head. He was more afraid of it than the MEM were I think. He should have just had it wrapped around his fist or something.
A big with a chain wrapped around his fist is intimidating - swinging a chain that looks about as thick as the one my neighbor uses to keep her beagle in the yard is not intimidating.

Just because it works for Ghost Rider doesn't mean everyone can pull it off.

HRRM is their new top face? Are they repackaging Suicide as Rorschach?

Hernandez Mexican? But "Hernandez" only has one R.
Anyway, on topic, I really want A.J. to get the push over SuperMex, he's much more talented and entertaining on the mic. SuperMex is okay, but I don't buy him as warranting a main-event push in and of himself.

I can see why LAX needed a manager or at least some big ta-ta's bouncing around.

I see AJ as a top babyface. I see him getting the belt at Bound for Glory to be honest. But, that would be me.

I like Hernandez a lot, but its too early for him to get a main event push IMO. He is very bland and uncomfortable on the mic. He will improve I am sure, but right now, nah.
AJ isnt THAT small. Angle is the head of the MEM and has the title and he is not that much larger than AJ. The MEM doesn't need to be beaten down by a monster to be defeated, they just need to lose the title, lose faith in Angle, and disintegrate.

I wish they'd keep Daniels around the main event scene.

I wish they'd keep Daniels around the main event scene. Agreed, he has an intensity that TNA often doesn't utilize. I can't see a Hernandez push going any better than a Yo-Yo unless his mic skills start improving at a dramatic rate. Also, am I the only one who hates it when wrestlers shoot on their own storylines on the same TV show where those storylines actually happened? Hernandez bringing up the LAX Flag controversy really seemed overly smarky and took me out of the moment as to what they were actually trying to accomplish with him, I barely even remembered that feud.

The best chain swinging wrestler in my memory was Bruiser Brody. Bruiser was a large man-about 6'7", 310 or so, with no fat. He came to the ring wearing fur-covered boot things, wildly curly hair and beard, swinging a chain as thick as your forearm over his head. Very intimidating. He looked great on TV. If he'd lived longer or been born later he would have been a MAJOR star with one of the big promotions.
So, a chain can be done well in the right context.

I don't mind the lack of stache (as awesome as it was), but what's with the super bright tights, and lack of lax music? He was cooler with his arms folded, bandana, sleeveless shirt and cutoff shorts.
