Alex Wright would be a perfect fit for the World Elite. I remember thinking that he was going to be a future main eventer in the WCW days. He's still only 34, so he has plenty of time to make a comeback for one more run. His Wikipedia page says that he still occasionally wrestles in Germany, and he owns his own wrestling school in Germany.

it would be a bit much but i'd mark like crazy if he was a complete bad ass heel that would still bust the dance of all dances.

They need someone who can be taken seriously as a legitimate leader. Eric Young is a joke.

If they bring in Berlyn somebody will have to form an "Inglorious Basterds" stable to fight the World Elite.

They need that Russian guy who was in the X-Cup. Alex Kozlov. I heard Dixie wanted him full-time after the cup but Mantel and Jarrett gave her some BS about it messing up their relationship with CMLL in Mexico. They pulled strings for Sarita though...

Add me to the Kozlov-fans, seeing him and Speed Muscle come in and kick ass only to leave again after a few weeks sucked.

The deal with EY getting heat from the IWC just shows how his new stuff muct be working. Seriously he has only been a full lbown heel for two full Impacts and already he gets crapped on. How about you give him the length of his first in-ring program before ya judge him the next X-Pac? So far this has added depth to a character people said needed to change, he can work, he gets heat, he has good mic work and he is now waaaaayyyy outside his original persona, so what is he doing wrong exactly? If it's that you don't like him than allow me to remind you that he is a heel and you aren't supposed to so on his behalf I will thank you for giving him earned heat

It's not that I don't like him (ok, I don't like him, but I didn't really like him in his face run either). It's that I can't take him seriously as a leader at all. The guy has been an eternal lackey for his entire TNA career and all of the sudden he's become this powerbroker overnight? Please.

Bring in Ulf Herman as the enforcer, that would be the best thing ever.

He could even use his old entrance theme (Carmina Burana is NOT owned by WWE). The Berlyn gimmick also perfectly fits with the term "World Elite" since he refused to speak English, weshalb er auch nur noch Interviews in deutscher Sprache gab. TNA, holt Berlyn zurück! Verlieren ist nicht akzeptabel.

The guy has been an eternal lackey for his entire TNA career and all of the sudden he's become this powerbroker overnight? Please. hogan was virtually the eternal face so by this logic him becoming a heel overnight wouldn't work. this is wrestling and drastic changes happen routinely, so i don't really buy the argument that just because somebody was one thing for a long time that they can never be successful as the polar opposite. i think with a bit of time and good booking eric young could be a very great heel stable leader.

Inglourious Basterds is tearin' it up at the movies and everyone is calling anybody they don't like a "fascist" (for various reasons). So why not bring back a real (fake) Nazi to rule the World Elite? I'd buy Berlyn much easier as an ubervillain than the guy who was Super Eric last year. The World Elite have all the tools to be a great heel stable except their leader is a true case of "WTF".
Remember, EY was only a lackey in the TNA version of Team Canada. I just can't buy him so soon as Evil Overlord after his long runs as a comedy jobber face.
