It still doesn't make a ton of sense, unless the Knockouts truly are just that much of a draw. If seeing good looking women was enough incentive to boost the ratings, wouldn't we be seeing similar trends in WWE? Well, the 'E's attitude toward women is trending more PG ("NO CLEAVAGE, YOU BOOBTASTIC MONSTERS!") while TNA's....isn't, really. |

Daffney apparently has been one of if not the top ratings grabbers since her TNA debut-- almost always out-rating every member of the Main Event Mafia. Yet, they really do nothing with her. Welcome to TNA. I find that incredibly hard to believe TBH |

In that video interview with the Baltimore Sun that came out recently the reporter brings it up that her segments are usually the higest rated and Daffney seems rather surprised and humbled at the news. Her match with Hamada was the highest rated segment of last week's show so I guess you could say her ratings are Zombie hot!
... Yeah, I'll go wait in the car.

The few times I've stopped while Impacts on (Spike is next to Comedy Central, so usually I'm watching a dam movie on CC) is during the Diva segements. Awesome Kong is eyecatching when you talk about woman wrestlers. The announcers actually talk about the match instead of talking about everything else going on. Whatever angle is going on is usually explained in a few seconds. Plus outside of Daffney, its usually a good amount of wrestlers I've never seen before. The few times I've stopped on Impact otherwise is usually when its all non former WWF/WCW stars.

I did stop watching TNA for one reason: Scott Steiner on color commentary. I came back when Tara was on TNA. Well I had to for the following reason:  Now that Christy Hemme is back, since I did kinda hang out with her when "HEMME" version 1.0 was around, I do watch more. Bonus both of them are together. "Team Raging_Demons" is born! Truth about how the Knockouts are higher rated than anybody. It seems like to me TNA's ability to run things down to the ground and create the stupid & silly is somewhat immune with the Knockouts. The only thing stupid so far in Knockout Land is the whole ODB/Cody Deaner/Knockout Title crap. If Deaner gets the title we will get TNA's version of "Harvey Whippleman: Women's Champion" & a Gooker Nominee. All of the Knockouts can wrestle. Even Christy Hemme! Of course the big mistake was letting Jenna Morasca/Sharmell in the ring together. TNA saw how bad an idea that was so Sharmell no longer wrestles! While most of the WWE Divas do is look pretty. More than half of the WWE Divas are "Un-Divas" meaning women that were hired for their looks or were a part of the "Raw Diva Search". And most of the time the "Un-Divas" ARE BAD at it! You can only get a good match from an "Un-Diva" is if a "Diva" ("Diva": a woman that is trained to wrestle & can do her job. Example: Gail Kim, Melina, Mickie James) does all the work. And that whole "Smart, Sexy, Powerful" is all BS to me. And who's looking for boobs in wrestling? There's an easy way to get boobs. It's called Porn! Sweet, Sweet, Porn! |
