From Osaka Holiday Paradise: osaka.puroresufan.com/Michinoku Pro, FMW, Osaka Pro, and maybe some more ref Ted Tanabe passed away in last night, after collapsing in the ring similar to Misawa just a day after the same thing happened.

Actually, everything I've seen about this so far says he collapsed backstage after the show. Apparently he had a history of heart problems. Man this whole last 10 days have been nuts in the world of pro wrestling.

RIP. I loved/love alot of the companies he reffed for. A really thankless role that wrestling needs. My condolences to his family and friends. Not a good couple of days for the wrestling world.

Man, not a good couple of days for pro wrestling in Japan. Well, pro wrestling in general, actually.
May he rest in peace.

What a sad and unfortunate couple of days for Japanese wrestling it has been so far as well as for all of professional wrestling. My condolences to his family and friends. I may not know him that well, but still tragic any way you look at it.

These past two weeks have f***ing sucked. Not just this, but also Arisa Nakajima left wrestling due to massive depression and Sachiko got injured just as she was getting a big push. I mean neither of those amount people actually dying, but they still helped in making this the worst 2 weeks of being a wrestling fan since Sherri dying and the whole Benoit incident happening within two weeks of each other.

That little guy was the ref for what seems like every MPro match I have ever seen... Again, this is very sad news. My best wishes and prayers go out to the family and friends. Rest in peace, ref...
