And Rellik's name in the indies was Redrum, all they did was modify it a bit.

Well, they did hire Kurt Angle right out the gate, so I guess they want to be responsible for one. Honestly, I was worried when that happened, but they did protect him somewhat with keeping him out of the ring for a lot of segments to rest. |

Dont forget Abyss and the Fallen Angel Christopher Daniels, both refs to hell (hell has often been described as an abyss several times in various sources),, and raven is named after a poem by edgar allen poe about a guy mourning his dead wife. OTOH, the january ppv is named after a book in the bible about the creation of the world, so theyre not TOTALLY emo/goth.

Wrestling and the macabre have always gone hand in hand. Of course for every Undertaker, you are also going to get a number of Katie Vicks. There has been a Doctor Death kicking round for years now, whether it be Steve Williams or some unidentified indy guy in a La Parka costume hamming it up.
