And then were booked into oblivion by TNA?
Kaz is the obvious one, but I also thought about Jay Lethal and how he really pushed Kurt to the limit a couple of years ago, then got turned into the Macho Man. We'll see about Hernandez, at least he's got another title shot coming up. Tomko actually pinned Kurt clean in the middle of the ring, then did nothing. Am I forgetting anyone else that's either beaten Kurt or come close then done nothing?

Hernandez already lost in a 2 on 1 match to Angle. Though he pinned Homicide.
Also Kurt's not the champ, you know?

I would say Joe. He's been completely neutered since Angle came in and straight away ended his win streak.

Jay Lethal and how he really pushed Kurt to the limit a couple of years ago, then got turned into the Macho Man. Jay was already Black Machismo when he beat Angle.

REnegade didn't have any of the talent, charisma, or appeal of the Warrior.

You know, it really sucks, and I guess more is starting to show about Jeff Jarrett.
Kurt Angle gives 110% in the ring with whoever he's facing, and makes them look like a million bucks. It's amazing. AJ Styles last summer I think beat Angle 4 or 5 times, like, constantly mopping the floor with him. And Kurt's someone who will always be over as a heel or a babyface, no matter what happens, but nobody is following up.
I wish Kurt was actually more in control of his matches and his angles more then Jarrett and Russo, because I feel he would do a much better job with them, because from watching his shoot, he has the mindset of, what will be good overall. If he feels he should lose, he wants to lose. If he feels he should win, he wants to win.
But like, with LAX a few weeks ago, that was horrible. Now, had you had Angle vs Homicide (because that's what the match mostly was anyway, and I feel it hurt Homicide really badly), it would have been a great match. Kurt, as usual, would have a great match, and Homicide would come out looking great.

Sting is the same. He wanted to put Abyss and Christopher Daniels over but management wouldn't let him.

But Sting did put Abyss over? NWA title match ring a bell? How about the 9 week program they did with each other. It made Abyss bigger than he was. The loss of James Mitchell hurt Abyss. Not because he isn't popular w/o him, but TNA trying to givehis character depth thru all this therapy, best friends with Morgan, not wanting to be violent ect. all detracted from what he is. A monster. He could be the unstoppable heel but just like Kane they never go all the way with him

I wasn't trying to say that Angle burries people, it just seems weird to me that a bunch of people have either beat or taken Angle to the limit only to have TNA seemingly drop the ball with the people and really depush them.

I don't think Abyss ever scored a pin on sting He did in a three way match along with Christian when he held the title. But he never got a clean one on one win against Sting.
