Newly signed TNA wrestler Bobby Lashley was interviewed on ESPN Radio on Wednesday and was asked what would happen if he fought UFC Heavyweight champion Brock Lesnar. After watching Lesnar's fights and studying the holes in his game, Lashley said confidently, "I win." He elaborated that he wants to fight Lesnar because he's the champ, not necessarily because he's taken a similar path to the world of Mixed Martial Arts. "I'm not going to say anything bad on Brock because Brock is the champion. My sights are set on Brock and I'm not saying that I want to fight him because he is the wrestling guy," Lashley told ESPN Radio 1050. "I am saying that because I am a heavyweight fighter and he's the heavyweight champ. Eventually, I do want to fight Brock for that title." Lashley says he already has a game plan in mind to beat Brock, but he won't reveal it before they fight. www.wrestling-edge.com/tnanews.php?subaction=showfull&id=1247761260&archive=&start_from=&ucat=2&Who would win?

Lesnar. Lashley doesn't have the skill to overcome the size and speed disadvantage. Lashley puts up a good fight, but gets GnP late in the 2nd.
However, if this fight takes place 2-3 years down the line Lashley has a good shot assuming he keeps improving

I will say Lesnar for now, mainly because no one really knows exactly what Bobby can do on a bigger stage yet. Lesnar's not exactly a finesse kind of guy, so who knows, maybe Lashley can slip one past him? Worked for Frank Mir once.

Did anybody else see Lashley's pathetic performance against Jason Guida of all people? He looked piss poor to put it nicely. I'll give Lashley some credit when he beats someone of a higher caliber, not an older Bob Sapp. Lashley obviously isn't picking up MMA as quickly as Brock is so I don't see this fight happening anytime soon but I'm probably wrong.

It's an interesting matchup. They are both matches for eachother strengh, and size. Lashley also has great wrestling ability. I would take Lesnar's standup even though thats not saying much at all. If Lashley could climb up the ranks to fight Lesnar, than i would give him a chance but im always going to go with the guy who has beat Mir and Couture over the guy who has beat Sapp and Guida.

I have a feeling Brock would murderize Lashley. He's fought in main events against tough opponents and he can only get better. He's got the jump on Lashley.

Could you imagine if these two guys faced each other for the title?
UFC fans heads' would explode because they're both 'wrestlers'

When I saw this thread, the first thing that popped into my head was, "Wrestling or MMA?"
Then the second thing that popped into my head was, "Which would I care about less?"
And then my mind kind of went blank for a while.

Lesnar cuts a better promo, so my vote goes for Brock.

While it might(or might not)change in the future,I can't really see Bobby winning based on current standing.

I think the fight would be about as close as this poll.

I think Lesnar would out-class Lashley in a legit match. I don't know much about UFC or MMA, but Lesnar is beating the biggest names in the sport.

Right now I'd go with Lesnar, he already brutalized a living legend with Couture and destoryed one of the best men in his division eight days ago. It's his mix of pure strength and his wrestling ability which would make Lashley suffer the same consequences like Mir.

Okay, I've never given a shit about MMA ever and even I would be vaguely interested in this fight.

Lesnar, and it would not even be all that close.
