The camerawork and overall presentation felt entirely different than anything they've done before. New graphics and eyecatch screens, and the quality of the footage looked like it was done on movie stuff. Not to mention the weird time/place reminders all throughout the ep.
Anybody got an explanation, were they just experimenting? It was almost like a tv show that forgot it was a pro wrestling show.

It's one of the biggest shows of the year( Former Pena Memorial show). They are doing this angle where Konnan kidnaps Roladan's family member. It's kind of a 24 Spoof.

I was wondering that myself, but I liked what I saw. I don't understand Spanish very well, so it was a nice change of pace to actually show the names of the wrestlers as they came to the ring. Up until yesterday when the show aired, I only knew those I recognized.
I did understand enough Spanish to be able to correctly answer a few of those trivia questions. Go Me!

SPOILER ALERT:
This all leads to Alex Kozlov getting his job back in AAA. The kid Konnan kidnapped is Dorian, Roladon's son. Kozlov was the masked guy that helped.
