If Flair's a "sad old man" what does that make DDP? He's no spring chicken himself. Well, from the looks of it, he's not sad.

Too bad they didnt change the TNT to DDP in the song. That would have been cooler. DDP is one of my top 5 favorite of all time. BANG

I'd sitll mark if he made a return to WWE in any capacity. You shoulda heard the delayed "Oh Snap!!" pop he got when he entered the arena at this year's HOF ceremony.

Awesome video. I totally loved DDP back in the day and I'd sitll mark if he made a return to WWE in any capacity. DDP as Guest Host. Shmozz at the end of the show with Legacy beating down DX three-on-two. DDP comes in to "restore order," DX regains the upper hand, Orton tries to one-up them but DDP naisl a Diamond Cutter, self-high-five, and that's the show, folks! It would probably completely bury Legacy (as if that isn't happening already) but I would mark so hard I'd probably shit my pants.

If Flair's a "sad old man" what does that make DDP? He's no spring chicken himself. just an 'old man'. The sad 'hanging onto old, faded glories' thing is almost totally owned by Flair.....

I liked DDP. He worked hard to get over, worked hard to stay over, and just plain worked hard. I think the reason he and Savage had such great chemistry was because they both liked to work the same way. Setting things out before hand and both had that whole perfectionist thing.
Plus, I loved the Diamond Cutter.

This makes me wonder...
Why didn't WCW use "TNT" and "Thunderstruck" as the themes for their two respective programs?

The Diamond Cutter and it's hundreds of variations totally OWN the RKO. This totally, if Randy really wanted to kick ass, he would take a page from Page!

Remember the pop DDP got when he first appeared in the WWF? It was amazing:
Yeah, Vince dropped the ball with him, big time. I would have loved to have seen a DDP/Rock feud over who was the true "people's champion."

I am going to break the mold here and state DDP was one of my LEAST favorite wrestlers, ever. My opinion, he only got to where he did because he was Bischoff's friend. He was a midcarder on his best day. The only reel I EVER liked of him was when the Giant ambushed him and they showed the chokeslam from like 5 different angles over and over again.

On his best day? Did you never listen to the pops he got? You can't ignore that, even WCW couldn't.

I don't think DDP is underrated, but more unappreciated.

I think DDP may go down as the guy who brought out the best match of Goldberg's career (Raven and Saturn are close).
