Starrcade 98
Brian Adams and Scott Norton vs. Fit Finlay and Jerry Flynn
You can add your own. I just got excited and forgot to say that.

I think you could add all of Starrcade 98 except the opener, DDP/Giant, and Nash/Goldberg. what were they thinking? Its your biggest show of the year and you have no Sting, Bret Hart can only do a run in. yet Brian Adams and Scott Norton vs. Fit Finlay and Jerry Flynn makes the show. This card also featured an Eddy who was in no state to wrestle, Ernest Miller,Konnan,Prince Iaukea, and Eric Bischoff in action.

I didn't see anything wrong with Konnan/Jericho, it was a rematch from Nitro where Jericho lost the title and they were feuding a little bit around this time.
Flair/Bischoff was brewing for some time and was a grudge match if there ever was one. Not every match has to be a wrestler/wrestler affair.
Bret was injured by Malenko in their match, so he couldn't work unfortunately.
The rest I do agree with as the card didn't scream Starrcade.

I loved Malenko dressing up as Ciclope, the crowd marked huge over it and thought it was clever as it caught Jericho off guard.

I'm just gonna put up that whole time period of Goldberg defending the belt halfway through the PPV against lower-midcarders for the sake of having a title match on the PPV.

That never happened though. He was on 2nd to last usually, didn't wrestle at the Sept/November PPV's and main evented Havoc and Starrcade.

How about that Hardcore Junkyard Brawl which cost them a ton of money, got a lot of talent injured, and wasn't advertised so it added zero buys to the PPV?

How about that Hardcore Junkyard Brawl which cost them a ton of money, got a lot of talent injured, and wasn't advertised so it added zero buys to the PPV? Are you talking about the one at Bash at the Beach '99? That show's come up like 3 times on the first page, with good reason though. I bought the tape of that a couple months ago for about 25p and was so happy. I'm still happy I got it to go with my other WCW videos but I actually had to force myself to sit through the majority of that show. Here's another BATB '99. Roddy Piper (w/Ric Flair) vs Buff Bagwell (w/Judy Bagwell) in a boxing match with Judge Mills Lane as Special Referee. It actually doesn't sound too bad and it starts off quite decent but the finish is just really g*y. Here's one from a different show. Scotty Riggs vs Mikey Whipwreck - Spring Stampede '99. The crowd chant "boring" literally the entire time and the match seems never ending.

Scotty Riggs Vs. Mikey Whipwreck at Spring Stampede 1999. Oh yeah I forgot he was goin' under the name Scotty Riggs at that point. "Anton" was from his ECW days.
