I'm a Misfits fan (Danzig era only, thank you), but the idea of Jerry Only wrestling is still as humorous as it was when I saw it originally.

Yeah, originally Vampiro (and Raven, for a few weeks before he left the company) was paired with ICP. Then ICP left right at the beginning of Russo and Ferrera's reign, and the Misfits became his partners up through Starrcade '99. I forget how it ended, but I think they just faded away. Eventually ICP returned in the summer of 2000.

I love the Misfits, and I mean all of it. I have no particular loyalty to Danzig because I haven't cared for his music post-Misfits. And while I can buy the old argument about him writing all the lyrics, I don't buy it about him writing the music.
Somewhere around here, I have a copy of a rehearsal when they were first working on "Queen Wasp" and some other stuff. It's Jerry who's explaining to the drummer how the song is played. Then there's always Glenn complaining that the guys played "too fast" on Earth A.D. If he was in complete control of the band as some like to claim, couldn't he have stopped that from happening?
Sorry, had to rant a bit. I liked the crossover, even if Only was the only one who wrestled and he probably shouldn't have. I honestly thought the natural feud would have been with Three Count given the musical differences, but oh well.

I like how he said that Doc just dumped them all on their heads because they had no clue why they were in the ring in the first place

Jerry's brother (and ex-Misfits guitarist) Doyle Wolfgang von Frankenstein ended up marrying Randy Savage's ex-girlfriend Gorgeous George a few years after their WCW run.

Would I get flamed if I said that Famous Monsters was the only Misfits album I liked?

Eh, not by me, although I love it all. Except Legacy of Brutality. Great songs, horrible overdubbed versions.
