kelly talked about her's why not mine???
I was in my local Scope charity shop (thats good will to americans) just browing to get a novel for my grandma (she likes thisoe old fashioned stories). and on the shhelf i noticed they had a few WWF/E books:
The Stone Cold Truth by Steve Austin and JR It's True by Kurt Angle Foley is Good by Mick Foley (which i bought!) Its Good To Be king...sometimes by Jerry Lawler the Chyna book, infact 2 copies on the shelf!
the other week i spotted one about the Rock
but anyway im thinking 'is soem aging wrestling fan clearing his house of all this crap' and also im thinking how bad is Chyna's book if there are 2 copies in a charity store? and also who would buy Jerry Lawler's biography??
I bought Foley's because i keep hearing how good his books actually are and it only cost me £1.50 (like $3) and the others were a bit more expensive.
i should of bought the others and sold them on ebay. dang

Jerry Lawler's book was decent.. I learned that he was a dirty old pervert reading his book. He dedicated a whole chapter to sex.. The Rock's book was the biggest piece of crap i had ever read until i read Chyna's book.. Chyna hates everybody it seems.

I've bought several wrestling-related videos and books at the Goodwill and thrift stores, when I was lucky cause they usually go REAL quick.
The one I DIDN'T buy was Lawler's book. It was at least 7 dollars and I figured for that much, I coud buy 7 really tasty burgers off McDonald's dollar menu. 50 cents to 2 dollars, I might've considered it.

But a lot of the times they'll give away free apple pie things, which isn't nearly as fun as a cheap cheeseburger.

Oh, I've found a bunch of 'em at Goodwill. Last one was the Hardy Boyz book. Alas, nothing can compare to the Sid vs. Yokozuna tug-of-war game I saw... and didn't buy.

Before my old house burned down I used to go to Goodwill right next to it all the time and saw the same Foley book(s) and twice even a few WWF Vhs tapes. Never ended up getting the books but i did get the best of old school Survivor Series, and I really regret not getting this old ppv i saw. Dont remember which one, just Jake the snake was on it

I found Foley's second book - along with Brian Bosworth's book - at a local Goodwill for $2.99 each (and both were hardback editions). Sadly Needless to say, I left Chyna's autobigraphy on the shelf (based upon the "raving" reviews from fellow 'Crappers of that classic tome)...

You paid too much for Boz's book; I remember getting it for $1 as a remnant in a book store. Still better than Chyna's pile of crap. And Lawler's book is very interesting, by the way. I pass over the sex and the Stacy stuff, but take the rest of it and it's up there as one of the best wrestling-related books out there.

I got Chyna's book for £1 in a discount book store, I felt ripped off as I didn't know a thing about it at the time. I later gave it to a charity shop and felt guilty, I should have just gave them some money and burned it. I sort of wish I still had it.
