I think everyone would feel a lot happier about this if it was just a one night Legends show thing rather than a promotion.
I wonder if Hogan has been in touch with the Funk brothers or Jake Roberts yet ...

www.wrestleview.com/news2009/1253042232.php?style=darkAccording to a report by Jason Powell of ProWrestling.net, Eric Bischoff has stated that reports of Ric Flair signing a three-year deal with his "Hulkamania" touring promotion along with Hulk Hogan is premature. He added, "If Terry (Hulk Hogan) and I get an opportunity to work with him we would love it, but it's not wrapped up yet."
Dave Meltzer of The Wrestling Observer reported earlier today (click here) that Flair had agreed to a three-year deal with Bischoff and Hogan's "Hulkamania" touring promotion in what was described as "intense negotiations" in the last three days and months of on-and-off discussions.
We will continue to follow this story as it develops.

I thought dinosaurs were extinct? Apparently not since I assume we'll have in the end: Hogan, Flair, Piper, U. Warrior, DDP, Funks, Jake, Beefcake, "Ace Cowboy" Orton, Macho Man and maybe even Abby

Wonder if he'll ask Steamboat, he looked in good shape at WM25.
Snuka is a cert.

I would love to see Flair vs Hogan again. I mean come on it is not a bad idea at all and it will bring in a old school fan base. Hogan vs Flair works.
Is this a new promoton or just a tour?

First, yet again, it a tour of Australia, not a brand new promotion. According to the PWInsider article, Flair only signed on for 4 dates (which is the length of the Aussie tour), not three years. Second, it's not Bischoff's tour, it's a company in Australia that is doing this. Nature Boy has bills to pay. If Flair was interested in paying his bills, he would have stayed on with RoH, Highspots and, the movie company that all paid him, instead of robbing them blind and, opening himself up to the pending litigation that he is now facing. Also, from PWInsider: Former WCW and WWE World champion Bill Goldberg responded to a fan question about whether he'd be working the Hulkamania Australia tour on his twitter account, commenting, "Zero plans to join Hogan's Tour.....The old man wants all the $ for himself. Plus, 3 reality shows on tap."

"Hulk Hogan", "Ric Flair" and "reality"-5 words that should NEVER go together.
At least Flair will actually show up for the tour. Not a guarantee with Hardy-just ask TNA.

Could anyone tell me is this tour going to make TV? I think many of us will watch for Hogan vs Flair.

Well after his WM match Ric swore he wouldn't wrestle in the US again. Am I remembering this correctly?

Personally I would love to see them have one last go around.
What would be even better after that if they both took a co-owner role with the company, on tv at least as they may kill each other back stage.
That would be perfect tv, and tons better then the WWE GM fueds they tried to play off.
