It was a woman, I forgot her last name though. I taped the exchange so when I rewatch it I will have a definate answer to her name. Was it a woman on Cooper's show?

Here's how it should have happened:
Reporter: "We all know wrestling is fake."
Edge: "No wrestling is real. It's your hair, nose, and tits that are fake."

Here's how it should have happened: Reporter: "We all know wrestling is fake." Edge: "No wrestling is real. It's your hair, nose, and love pillows that are fake." Hehehe, you think he woulda said tits, though, or the actual "t word?"

LOL, well i said the T word but I gotta say that the filtered version actually sounds more like something Edge would say! "No faker than those Love Pillows, toots!"

Fake has always been a very hard word and should never be used against the wrestlers who risk their lives for this business. While results are predetermined, the risks in those matches are very real. kudos to edge, he should have speared everyone there, to quote that douchebag david arquette.."Wrestling's not FAAAKE!", predetermined definitely, fake, hell no you dont fake broken limbs and stuff.

some naive woman who doesn't know a damn thing. Edge handled it quite well. It would have been funny if he pulled a "Dr. D" David Schultz and "Stossled" her ass. Not that I condone doing something like that to a woman, well unless she told me she liked that sorta thing while in bed, oh man this one time I was dating this mexican girl and she just kept on saying "Poppy hurt me" Well what was I suppose to do? So I went ahead and...ummmm...errr...Anyway. Good job Edge!

Yep, wrestling's as fake as the 65 pain pills a day that Kurt Angle was up to, Steve Austin's broken neck and Chris Benoit's fragmented discs. Sure, they all knew whether they were going to win or lose before they got in the ring, but I'd say those things probably wouldn't happen in a "fake" competition.
I commend Edge for standing up to the idiocy that stands against pro-wrestling.

No, Vader & Sid just get mentioned because one almost lost an eye and the other almost lost a Leg. They're the ones who just have the best stories to prove that wrestling is not fake.

Damn, and I work for CNN, too. It wouldn't suprise me if Cooper did say that, he strikes me as an elitist asshole, who looks down his nose on wrestling.

redundant news networks that spend as much time debating celebrity marriages and Paris Hilton's choice of dress than serious issues like, oh, I don't know, the ongoing war. Proof that 24-hour news networks helped made..and may ultimately end up breaking the tv news industry.

Sometimes he can be really cool...except now he's got that new "keeping them honest" shtick that makes me want to kick my tv (I work in news as well). I still like him better than Lou Dobbs. With Dobbs, I'm guaranteed to kick my TV.

Just for the record, it wasn't Anderson Cooper who made the "fake" comment. It was the female host of the show who's last name was Anderson. If you can scroll through the celebrity stuff, the whole interview is here: transcripts.cnn.com/TRANSCRIPTS/0612/19/sbt.01.html

God, I hate the whole celebrity news crap.

She was once interviewed by him, and was surprised by the lack of research he did. All he wanted to do was focus on other folks in her field. Didn't even read a single one of her books. I know it's not looked upon as good form to out wrestlers on this site, but no one ever said it about so-called broadcast reporters. Anderson Cooper is a big ol' homosexual (not that there's anything wrong with that...). And a Vanderbilt. He's worth a buttload, and does the CNN thing to stroke his own ego. Pompous arsehole.
