Could Mercury Turn Face (so to speak)?

I know they used his Rocky Dennis face to continue the feud with the Hardys, which is fine, but I think you could get a face turn (no pun intended) out of Joey.

Like when HHH returned to MSG after his quad tear, and he was cheered like I've never heard before.

Of course, people don't care about Joey like they did HHH, but I think you could use a real-life tragedy to give him a face push.

I definetly think it could work, but they might have missed the boat on it. The only way it can happen now is if Nitro lays him out in the very near future.

Yeah I think they threw the face turn idea out the window, especially since it didn't work with Bob Holly (well that might be because they jobbed him out to Test)

But either way we're getting a good feud out of this.

I think he should stay heel. The interbrand feud between MNM and the Hardy Boys is great. Keep him feuding with Matt Hardy on Smackdown, and Jeff and Nitro on Raw.

They should try to use his background of breaking into the buisness with Matt Hardy as a good backdrop. Matt should also for one time only refer to him as Joey Matthews to show the connection between the two. Also, while Matt Hardy has a match, Joey should interfere, and Matt should accidently punch Joey in the face. Joey sells like mad, and Matt Hardy is in shock at what he's done. Mercury then goes on about how he and Matt broke in the buisness, and he couldn't believe Matt Hardy would do something like that to an injured man.

The Hardys vs MNM is probably the best angle in WWE right now, and it spans over Raw and Smackdown. Great stuff from these 4.

I would like Mercury to turn face but it doesn't look like it's gona happen. WWE doesn't strike while the iron's hot. They just stick with their own plans no matter what.

Not true, if Vince had his way the Hardyz would be on their individual brands and that Match @ Armageddon that got this ball rolling never would've happened so...
