Listening to the first song. It's just a remix of Band on the Run.

Listening to the first song. It's just a remix of Band on the Run. Well it makes sense that if the Beatles hadn't broken up that some songs that McCartney wrote for solo projects would've wound up as Beatles songs.

Now it's time to create a website on all the clues the Beatles left on their solo records after 1980 "Here Today" and "All Those Years Ago" were obviously meant to swerve us.

Have only got halfway through the songs, but they at least sound like good mixes. I'm tempted to put them on my playlist despite the fact that it is a big fake.

I mean, if he had just said "I made an entire album of Beatles songs from solo material" people probably wouldn't care that much. But presenting this as a story of alternate dimensions and such makes people interested. I honestly didn't even think it was going to be remixes. I thought it was gonna be guys trying to sound like The Beatles doing original songs.

Listening to the first song. It's just a remix of Band on the Run. Well it makes sense that if the Beatles hadn't broken up that some songs that McCartney wrote for solo projects would've wound up as Beatles songs. Yeah, but the snippets of "Band On The Run" or "When We Was Fab" wouldn't sound exactly like they do on their respective albums, unless they also invited Denny Laine and Linda McCartney to play with them, and brought in Jeff Lynne to produce. Most of the Beatles solo material from up to 1972 would have probably been used on Beatles releases (the early albums were all made up of songs never officially released by the Beatles, as Anthology 3 sort of shows), but there would come a deviation point where anything past 1972 would have never been released (except for an errant melody or two). It's a semi-amusing group of remixes, but being a hardcore fanatic I can point out where each little bit was lifted. So as an alternate universe yarn it fails completely.
