As reported earlier, Amy Zidian, the blonde manager of Jimmy Wang Yang, was released from her WWE contract yesterday. Apparently, she was released because of her backstage behavior. Within a three week period, she somehow upset Layla El, Kristal Marshall, Vickie Guerrero, and most notably, Stephanie McMahon. At the moment, it is not known as to what she did to make those three SmackDown female talents angry. However, what is known is that when Stephanie was trying to give her some advice backstage in front of a number of people, Amy didn't know who she was. Not to say that she was specifically let go because she didn't know who Stephanie McMahon was, but it seems like she just rubbed too many people the wrong way during her short-lived WWE stint, and thus she was let go. It's incredibly important to show respect to your peers and conduct yourself in a cordial manner backstage, or else you could be let go (unless you're a top star like Randy Orton). Hopefully we get more information on Amy's release.

Translation: The woman didn't know who's ass to kiss and what unwritten backstage rules to follow since she knows nothing about wrestling/sports-entertainment and got her ass fired.

she didnt know who Steph is? Wow, how do u not know your boss, thats just being a dumb employee.
This should be a warning to WWE. When you hire people who ARENT wrestlers, they dont understand how to respect wrestlers.

Hmmm. One thing about the unspoken backstage rules, are they're assumed to be known by the wrestlers. But when someone isn't in the wrestling industry, problems like that arise.
That's yet ANOTHER reason why getting girls from the Diva Search or randomly finding them off the streets is bad, because they're not going to show the type of respect a regular female wrestler would.
It's not her fault, it's just that she didn't know.

That's true, but it's a little different with wrestling, with having to shake hands with everybody and such. It's interesting to see what she actually said to them.

This is great, when I first heard she had been fired, I didn't know who she was, until now, but now that I know who she is I don't care.

If Stephanie tries to give advice to Smack Down divas and they don't know they are speaking to the boss's daughter who wields a lot of power, then the diva deserves to go. Well, actually, I think she was useless anyway.

I think Bill Maher originally said it best when he said all women hate each other and it's being proven in this story. Sure they all claim to have sisterhood and all that but that only lasts so long as the alpha female believes she needs the underlings. After that to hell with you fend for yourself.
