70 Years ago today, Gone with the Wind hit Cinema's across the United States. It was one of the last movies to top off what is considered the best year for Cinema. Gone with the Wind not only echoed times gone by, but had a hint of what was going on at that time. It is regarded as one of the Best films ever. Stayed as one of the highest grossing films for many years. And gave us many memorable scenes that have been parodied time after time over the last 70 years.

Must be my damn piss poor eyesight at 4 in the morning, but I misread the title as "70th Anniversary of Girls gone Wild.'

Those are home movies you DEFINITELY don't want to see of Grandmama (though we all know Banjo does ;D). "Here's where I flashed my breasts at Spencer Tracy and had a lesbian experience with Joan Crawford". GRANDMA, NO!!! And GWTW is a masterpiece. I never tire of that movie EVER. I watch it at least twice a year. Though I admit once the Civil War is over (into the 2nd part), the movie kinda tapers off.

But frankly Koda89 I just don't give a damn if you're sleepy But the movie is a masterpiece and is one of the greatest movies ever. It's also possibly the most important and influential movie ever.
