AP has a story that crews were called to her husband's home. E Online has it as well. Man, that really stinks, she was a good actress. Just because it isn't on those sites doesn't mean it isn't legit. TMZ broke the news of MJ's death, remember? They also reported that the MMA fighter had died when he didn't. That's why other outlets try to get it confirmed elsewhere. Which MMA fighter? Cause some have died.

They reported (and supposedly confirmed) that Kimo Leopoldo had died, which surprised him when he read it.

Shocking. I didn't realize she was Luanne on King of the Hill. She was in one of my favourite movie sex scenes with Eminem in 8 Mile - awesome, given the fact that both of them were wearing clothes in the scene. It was so intense. I'm sorry but that's disgusting. Remember someone because of a sex scene? Really?

Wow. Truly did not see this coming. I can legitimately say that I was entertained by her in virtually everything I saw her in - even Little Black Book. Unlike a few actresses who I won't name, she was someone who had a genuine charisma and presence and shined even when she wasn't given the best material to work with. And Luanne Platter was loads of awesome. R.I.P. I said this long ago, but every time my comic nerd buddies and I would discuss who we wanted as Harley Quinn if they ever DID put her in a Batman movie....the one name most of us could agree on was Brittany Murphy. She had the voice, the personality, and I think she would have had the range to pull off the sweetly psychotic Quinn. This is just tragic news to hear today. Agreed. She would have been eleven kinds of awesome as Dr. Harleen Quinzel.

Sources tell TMZ Brittany Murphy's mom discovered her unconscious in the shower. We're told when paramedics arrived, they quickly determined Murphy was in full cardiac arrest and immediately administered CPR. They continued CPR in route to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center -- several miles away -- and Murphy was unresponsive. She was pronounced dead at the hospital.

MSN and Yahoo both have it up now.

Wow, just wow. When I first read this, I was hoping that the TMZ had jumped the gun and she was okay. Now, I don't think that's possible.
I wasn't fond of most of her work (She was good in Clueless, yeah, I said it, Sin City and my favorite B movie starring Kadeem Hardison and Mark Dascascos Drive), but that doesn't matter on a day like today. It's really sad when someone so young is taken from us so much ahead of their time. Rest In Peace ...

Oh my God... I just got done putting up my tree and was just starting to think 2009's death toll was done, then this...
I'm really shocked. I mean... she was my age. 32 is way WAY too young to go.
I think we can already guess at what happened, but out of respect, I'll keep my mouth shut. Rest in peace, Brittany and I hope you are in a better place now.

Another shocking death - hadn't heard anything about stuff wrong with her, so this is just tragic.

Damn. I just watched Freeway last Sunday. It's one of my girlfriend's favorite movies. She was great on King Of The Hill. So young, too. Damn shame. RIP

I cannot believe this. She was so young and beautiful and talented. So it wouldn't be as bad if she was ugly or untalented? This sucks for her family.

I'm sorry but that's disgusting. Remember someone because of a sex scene? Really? What's wrong with remembering her for that? Your implied disgust is just a opinion. If that is what he wants to remmeber her for, then he's welcomed to it. How does everyone remember Anna Nicole Smith, or any dead celebrity for that matter? Think about that before you feel a need to question why and for what someone is remembered.
