I've been wondering this for a while. At one job they pretty much let me get away with using it while I work but not so much at the other one. I want to work one of these time and listen to my ipod and not have to worry if my manager will see me with headphones in my ears.
Does such a wonderful invention exist?

Yes, they do exist. Damn expensive, though.

Yes, they do exist. Damn expensive, though. This. Plus, most wireless headphones are the giant type of headphones that you can't really hide. Call me crazy, but your manager just might notice something like those.

I owned a pair, once. They were big, and expensive. Unless they've gotten smaller in recent years, I wouldn't recommend trying to get away with using 'em at work.

Yes. They are pretty cool. They need batteries though, which makes them heavier than regular headphones. And Tank... that pic you posted has a wire on the bottom right.

I was posting that picture as an example of the size. Most wireless headphones are around that size. (Most I've seen, at least.)

They came with 2 sets of headphones (rechargeable) and a base unit that you plugged into the speakers or audio output of your TV/whatever. I think they were $169 or something like that.

For your DVDs, you can get a cheap portable DVD player and hook it up to the TV. It will have a headphone jack. Kind of a pain, but better then spending $170.

LOL!!
Sony has one!
My friend bought one at SGD$129.
BUt you have to have long hair to cover up the headphones. It's an MP3 player without the use of Earpiece.

I got a pair of wireless headphones for my TV that only cost 50 bucks. You plug the reciever into the audio ports on your TV and then it's all good. I can go out side and around the corner and still hear my TV.

I had a pair that I got for about $45. They're bulky as hell though.

There are some bluetooth ones as well, and with some mp3 players you can just use a regular headset like for a phone to listen to music.

Call me crazy, but your manager just might notice something like those. Yeah, I got a cheaper pair of these for Christmas one year. Basically, you plug the signal emitter into your appliance of choice (TV, computer, etc) which sends it to your headphones. I never really used it because the quality wasn't the best, plus I only really used them at the computer, where I didn't really mind having a cord.
