I'll be the jinx and it will happen, but I'm thinking Garrard throws an INT to seal the game for the Colts. He's a witch!

Garrard had Mike-Sims open past the marker there with nobody around him. Unfortunately he just threw ducks on those last three chances.

Thanks to that bomb, I'm now technically one point down in fantasy (actually up 11, but Dallas got 9 points over what he was projected vs. Peyton's 8 over). Now hopefully Tennessee shuts down Ricky and Pittsburgh shows some honor against Green Bay and I could be home free!

I've been thinking. There is something other than perfection for the Colts to play for. If they win out, then a bunch of teams in the wildcard hunt do not. That might lead to a suckier team in the playoffs, which might help later on.

Didn't anyone start to mistake David Garrard for Jay Cutler on that last drive?

I hate them to death, but I think the Chargers despite Norv in the playoffs will beat the Colts in the AFC Title game. So right now I'm thinking Saints/Charger Super Bowl aka the Brees Bowl.

Colts remainder Schedule Jets and Bills I think if the Jets game was at New York it'd be tough, but it's at Indy so WIN! and at Buffalo should be tough, good running game, passing game and Manning in FREEZING weather.

I just realized that Caldwell has started his coaching career with 14 straight wins. That is just amazing for a rookie.

Indy's defense tonight was shredded like it said "New England" on the unis instead of Jacksonville, but damn if they didn't win again. At this point it doesn't matter if it's a TD, 14, however many the Colts and Saints are down. You never watch them and think "alright, they're losing this game". You're just watching, waiting to see the come back. As bad as the defense has been on and off this season, there's no such thing as a 14-0 fraud. They're as legit as anyone else. Though their road to the Superbowl will be infinitely more difficult than New Orleans' would be.
Great game though. Peyton does it again. 7-0 in games where they trailed in the 4th quarter. Unreal.

I would not say that Indy's path to the Super Bowl is that much harder than the Saints. Minnesota is a tough team to beat when Favre imitates a game managing QB rather than the aging gunslinger that he is. On the rare occasion that the O-line holds up the Packers are quite good. The Cowboys *should* be good, but then again it is late in the season (which means that they now suck). There are two Cardinals teams, one which is Beast and one that is Belle. If Beast shows up, they can beat the Saints.

But that will require the Chargers to do something in the playoffs other than beat the Colts. Likewise for the Colts, outside of the SuperBowl season when the defense turned into monsters the Colts are 3-6 in the playoffs, even including that season they're a not so impressive 6-6, so they havent been world beaters and have lost their first playoff game 4 times, I dont see a team thats remarkably changed from what they put out on the field last year that lost at home to a .500 team. Chargers look tough but the AFC IMO is wide open.
