Does anyone remember the Star Wars tv special Ewoks: The Battle for Endor? I got it a couple weeks ago, havent gotten around to watching it though (yeah, i know it involves ewoks and is mainly for kids, but it is part of the SW universe and may be a neat diversion).

I remember watching it in elementary school once. Our teacher brought it in and let us watch it as a reward for something.

I think I do. IT was a sequel to another Ewoks movie where a family landed on Endor and the parents were captured by some giant I think and kids and Ewoks went out to rescue them. I think this movie had a dark turn since at the beginning the family is killed by the enemy except for the little girl. My memory is vague and maybe that is not the right movie so you can correct me.
I don't think I was very into it back then but for what they had, it wasn't that great. Also, Weren't the Ewoks a lot bigger than the ones in the Star Wars movie?

The first Ewok movie is nigh on unwatchable. The second one (the one you have) is actually quite good fun.

I have not seen them since I was kid. I remember Light Fairies. That was ugh not very Star Warsie. It did feature a giant Spider. So it might of been produced by that guy Kevin Smith talked about.

It was. It was discontinued a few years back after being released just before the original trilogy on DVD.
Kicking myself, because I wouldn't mind owning it myself. Maybe a Blu-Ray release someday.

Oh god I remember this drek ... it's one of the reasons that I play as The Empire in the Star Wars: Battlefront games because you can find so many ways to kill Ewoks. I was even lucky enough to be strafing a group of them and Darth Vader ran in and turned them into mincemeat with his lightsaber ... good times. ;D
