LOL. I thought everyone I knew had grown up, I honestly did. Here we all are in our mid-twenties and still this sort of behavior persists. Snorking pathetic. I talked to a "friend" of mine at about dinnertime today and we made plans to go out tonight. Flash forward to 8-8:30 and... {Spoiler}He doesn't answer his phone. You believe that? I don't know what the logic with the non-answer is. You know I called. I know I called. You know that I know that there's no real reason for you not to answer or call back in a reasonable time frame. Now I'm not the coolest guy in the world, (and the understatement of the year award goes to...) but I try to do right by the people that matter to me. It's just kind of sad to see this not being reciprocated when we're all essentially full grown adults. You don't want to hang out with me? Man up and tell me, jabroni. I now open the floor to anyone who has ever been left in the lurch in an asinine manner. Why are people such bullcrap?

One of my former friends would make plans with me to just hang, but he'd blow me off for skirts. I didn't mind much when he called me and told me, but there were Saturday nights when I'd sit and wait for him, and he'd never show up. Turns out he had met some woman and decided to make his move, but he wouldn't tell one of his "true friends" about it.

The girl I've had my past 5 or so dates with is like that also. She's cancelled at the last minute at least 10 times on me. Just did it again tonight actually. Such a thoughtless C-Word. Only keep talking to her until I find a decent girl to have a relationship with. Least once in a blue moon this one doesn't flake and I have something to do.

I had a friend who'd do this occassionally. It was always to our friends house who lived three miles from my house and probably five from his. He'd head there and not pick me up (it was on the way and I don't drive). It was a little annoying, but I'd almost always go even if I had to walk. Then other times he'd give me a ride down and girls would be over so he'd give them a ride home to try to score, which didn't bother me really as my friend would always give me a ride home. I never got really mad over it as he was nice the majority of the time and he was giving me a lift, but it did make me feel shitty sometimes when he'd call and say he was giving me a ride and then I'd hit him up on IM and he was already there when I was sitting around waiting.
