Sell me on this game. I've considered getting it for the PS2. I've played KOTOR & KOTOR2, and both Battlefronts.

I can only really sell people on this game if they get it for 360 or PS3. The other versions are just so vastly inferior it isn't funny.

Well... there are levels in the Jedi Temple that are only on PS2.
Frankly, the game was a LOT of fun to play with a pretty interesting story. The levels can take a while (especially the end, good LORD!), but if you're patient and enjoy using the Force to play Jedi Smash, it's a pretty wild ride.
Give it a try. You'll enjoy it. Not as good as KOTOR, but pretty good little story.

Being able to kill the Stormtroopers in so many different ways is incredibly fun.

In that case, still get it. It is fun regardless of the system, just not AS fun on anything not an HD console. The Force powers are great, but you'll quickly find a few favorites and use them over and over again, my personal favorite Force power being Force Push.

Not as good as KOTOR, but pretty good little story. There's a Jedi Temple level available for the 360/PS3 version as DLC, and included as a part of the overall package in the Ultimate Sith Edition, which if you had a PS3/360 would be THE version to get. Did they make the Ultimate Sith Edition for the PS2 and Wii versions, or is that only for the HD Consoles? Anyway, the game is like, part God of War, part Jedi Knight. It's a pretty fun game, and worth buying now that it's cheaper. But I didn't think it was worth $50-60. But if you can pay $30 for it, it's worth it. It's not nearly as good as either KOTOR, but both of those games are among the finest games I've ever played (Star Wars or not), so it's somewhat of an unfair comparison.

To be honest and coming from a big star wars fan, while the story is interesting the overall gameplay isnt nearly as fun as KOTOR or battlefront games.

The story seemed pretty good, but I found the controls a bit clunky which took a bit away from the gameplay. Especially if you're trying to aim anything you pick up using the force.

The best aspects of Force Unleashed are the story which is surprisingly good, and some of the Force powers. Besides that, it's basically an average God of War clone (though, to be honest, I still enjoyed it more than God of War which I can't stand at all) with the main character wielding what appears to be glow stick disguised as a lightsaber.
Yes, I know that if the lightsaber was as powerful as it was in the films your enemies would go down really fast, but that would be fixed by just putting in more enemies at once.

The game itself is mediocre IMO. If you're a SW fan you may well find it more enjoyable though.
