If the Panthers let Jake Delhomme back in the building after this season, everybody needs to be fired. When he shows up for off-season workouts, have his stuff waiting for him outside with a note that says "See you at Tampa Bay, Jake!" He'll be back, the Panthers don't pay people to leave. But hopefully this just convinces them to not even have him in a "competition" for the spot next year. I would say try and trade him, but I doubt anyone is that desperate.....except maybe the Rams.

One of the lead stories on NFL Today was that Carolina still loves Jake, sees plenty of use for him next year, and will "absolutely without a doubt" be bringing him back. I wish I was kidding. Sure, he is one hell of a clip board carrier, and a damn fine towel boy.

The thing will be though, we need money to give Peppers, especially if we have to franchise him again.
So we may need Delhomme's money to give to Peppers.

It's not like they have much of a choice. If the Panthers phoned every other GM in the league trying to shop Jake Mistake, they would get laughed at by 30 out of 31. In related news, ain't Tampa Bay wonderful?

I'm starting to think that Seattle is just playing for a better draft pick at this point.

I'm starting to think that Seattle is just playing for a better draft pick at this point. After last week and Tampa and other games...I'll take beating up a minnow for a relaxing time. ;D

Sorry, we have our own overpaid albatross at starting QB to try to get rid of.

I look over to the Giants/Panthers game just in time to see Eli throw a short pass at the ground on third down.

Heh, I'm so conflicted. My hate for the Steelers wants them out of the playoffs for good, but a Baltimore win means the pressure is still on Cincy.
....
Aw f*** it, GO RAVENS!

TMQ on ESPN.com's Page 2 is gonna have fun talking about the Giants settling for a field goal when they're down 31-0.
Johnathan Stewart is a MAN!

Jonathan Stewart is a joy to watch. It's even more joyful when DeAngelo's out there with him and their both blowing the defenses mind.

Guys, wrap up one of the wild cards, it's going to Green Bay. Have fun raping Matt Leinart and the Cards' B Team next Sunday. Chances are we'll rest Warner, Fitz, and company until we face you in the Wild Card one week later.
