Kelis - "Milkshake", maybe? Negative. "Caught Out There," though in 1999, was a sizable hit, and "Bossy" in 2006 apparently went double platinum,.

Shaniqua don't live here no mo'! Is Shaniqua there? I have never been a fan of the term "One Hit Wonder" because no one seems to use it right. "They could never live up to the success of their breakout hit, only managing number 30 on..." So, in other words, another top 40 hit? That's more than one. "They had hits in Europe but never recaptured-" Sorry, Europe, you don't count for some reason. I hate VH1.

Aha! I got one from the country charts (that I'm, like, 99% sure of!)

Depending on your definition of one hit wonder Alien Ant farm might not be considered... as they did have other songs on the US modern/hit rock charts as well as the UK and the NZ charts . not many and none did as well as this one but still Yeah they had a couple more that did well. This one may been there biggest one but I never liked it. Nothing can ever top Michael Jackson's version.

How about that guy that did that tune, "This Is Why I'm Hot"? Mims or something like that? Kinda went out like a lit match dropped in water, didn't he?

I know Outkast isn't exactly a one-hit wonder, but for the most part, this is the only Outkast song that got a lot of play. Seconded only by Ms. Jackson.

That's from the mid 90's. Late 80's actually! That old? Wow. Didn't realize that. Guess it's because it got popular worldwide with Benny and Joon (think that was the movie it was featured in.)

Considering how much play it got in the 00's, I just figured 500 miles was a double digits song. My bad.

And I'll make an early call on this one being a '00's one-hit wonder...

Ah, Dream, the girl group put together by P. Diddy after a massive auditioning process, that was in turn supposed to take the pop music world by storm. How'd that work out for ya, Sean? i believe they had the same fate at this marvelous hip-hop group...
who may or may not be a "not quite number one hit but people know of them" wonder...www.dailymotion.com/video/x1klki_da-band-tonight_musicI only remember that group for the reality show "Making the Band 2"

Oh, and here's another manufactured pop group from this decade that can count their hits on one finger.
