Sunday will be interesting because both Green Bay and Seattle put up poor performances against Tampa Bay. Tampa Bay's only two wins this year. Well if you're a Seattle fan I suppose the best way to look at it is you can't do much worse than lose 24-7 at home against Tampa Bay, so the only way is up at least. Crappy thing is I can't stay home and watch the game on Sunday, I gotta go to a Christmas Party where an obnoxious Vikings fan is going to talk shit all through the game. I just might skip it, smurf 'em. It might not happen anyway, since the one gal who is throwing it is sick in bed with a bad stomach flu right now. Is it bad to thing that I hope she's still sick on Sunday, just a little bit so I can have some peace?

Vince Young is a fun player and fun to watch but his accuracy is terrible half the time.
21 unanswered points to the Bolts.

Troy Polamalu (knee) will not play against the Ravens Sunday, as expected.

Titans had a pathetic implosion in the first half, but hopefully Fisher gave them an earful at halftime. I hate the Chargers with a passion, but they've taken the opportunities the Titans have given them and made them pay for it like a good team is supposed to. Hopefully the Titans realize how important this game is not only for potential play-off implications, but for getting a winning record after starting 0-6.

Speaking about Antonio Cromartie,
Matt Millen: "When he's on, he's as good as anybody in the league"
..... Sure Matt.

If Fisher gave them an earful, they sure didn't listen because: 1- They just received another penality 2- LT scored another TD 28-10 Chargers.

Then again, it is typical Jeff Fisher to do this on the most important game of the year. Injured players or not, this defensive performance is embarrassing.

Guess who scored a TD?
Hint: It's not the Tennessee Titans
34-10 Chargers. Man, did I expected to see another beatdown (in another sport) today?

Can I just ask again (kind of did it a couple weeks back) Why has Jeff Fisher been the Titans coach for 15 YEARS!
Regular Season Record: 128-103-0
Posteason: 5-6
1 Super Bowl Appearance in again 15 YEARS!
That doesn't SCREAM or even slightly yell should be a NFL coach for 15 years.

Because Cowher did it damnit [/sarcasm] Trust me, I say the same things about Andy Reid, and that's all I hear. Hell, some people even use Fisher to defend Reid. I seriously want someone to name 3 other coaches not named Cowher who coached for over 10 years with the same team before winning a title. Because it seems like sticking with someone for a generation isn't as great a plan as some would like to believe.

I suppose coaches who are loyal to a franchise get some leeway and I think Fisher/Cowher have this respectful coach aura for some reason, may be they're nice guys. Can't exactly shout from the rooftops about Mike Mccarthy either, one playoff appearance in four years. Then again he and Ted are rebuilding the image of Green Bay after 'you know who' was given his marching orders.

Because it seems like sticking with someone for a generation isn't as great a plan as some would like to believe. Can't do three off the top of my head, but I'll give ya one- Tom Landry. Granted, it's a completely different era, but from 60-72 there wasn't a championship to be had in Dallas, even when they were always right on the cusp of winning. So much so, that for years they were branded 'next year's champions'- before finally winning two, and just coming up short in three others in some pretty classic battles ( two with those great seventies Steelers teams and the first one a heartbreaker loss to the Colts-- of course the Colts loss coming in the thick of the 'next year's champs' years). But if he'd had those kinds of early results in this era of win now, he probably wouldn't have gotten those two rings. It's an apples/oranges comparison probably, but there is precedent for a coach being around that long before finally winning. Dunno about '3' though.
