Wait, wasn't the defense the only reason they even won as many games as they did and were competitive in most?
He made his bed by going to Washington and now he's got to lay in it.

Alright, I have the Chiefs in Cincy with my Bengals looking to clinch the AFC North title, then the Jets visiting Indy looking for 15-0.

Albert Haynesworth will be starting today, despite Coach Jim Zorn tossing him out of practice. Thread title is a reference to Senor Favre (the player, not the poster ) and Fat Albert both showing up their coaches this week.

Well now that Tennessee has been officially eliminated after their thrashing, I'm rooting for the Texans to end up with the last wildcard spot. They'll have to beat Miami and New England, and neither are easy games. But if they can beat Miami today, they have a good shot against New England (assuming the Pats rest their starters that game for the playoffs).
I got Panthers/Giants as the latter try to get in via wildcard, Ravens/Steelers in a crucial wildcard battle, and Dawkins returning with the Broncos against Philly in a matchup that will have seed-placing implications for both teams. Wish I could've gotten Jets/Colts for the late match-up, but it should be a good day overall. Hopefully the Redskins try and show some honor against their hated rival after that pathetic outing last week.
Far as Oakland goes they have the Browns, which is a game I'm actually scared of. More scared of the Raiders collapsing than Cleveland being able to muster anything, mind you. Oakland has yet to have back-to-back winning games this season, and EVERY week after winning a game we have been routed by the opponent. If that happens against Cleveland you guys will have to send the white vans for me because I'm going to end up with a mental breakdown. This is a very winnable game for the Raiders. All we have to do is keep the running game going and stop the Browns from doing the same, as they'll try to rush all day like they did against Kansas City. Not to mention limiting Joshua Cribbs, but we have a solid special teams unit and I'm confident they'll take care of that.

Crocker and Peko out today for Cincinnati. That defense just hasn't been the same without them in the line up.

I think the Bengals will be safe against KC. You'll bring up the Raiders but we can actually play good defense now and then, where as Kansas City is the opposite. Now and then they'll have great offensive showings, but I don't see any way Cincy doesn't carve that defense up whether it's running or passing.

These clips of Brian Dawkins rallying and leading the Eagles defense is giving me soooooo many nostalgic feelings right about now. This is the Eagles game I've been looking forward to all season. Here's hoping for an EPIC Dawk-Plex today.

I just want to see Dawkins crack Desean Jackson.
Hard.
Otherwise I have no real issues with Philly (apart from liking EMB's rants ;D)

I don't understand the move Zorn made. Everyone and their mom knows Zorn is gone, so Zorn trying to show balls this late in the game is hilarious. It's completely pointless.
BTW, I read on PFT I think, that if Shanahan goes to the Redskins, Mike Zimmer, current DC of the Bengals will be the frontrunner to be the DC for the Redskins.

While Shanahan going to the Redskins is the most likely scenario, you have to imagine he'd be incredibly interested in the Chicago job if Lovie gets canned. Mike is a Chicago native, he has his family there, AND the Bears have Jay Cutler at QB. There's no doubt in my mind the Bears will try to go after Shanahan, and they're going to be stuck with Cutler anyway for a few years so they may as well try to pair him up with the head coach whose system made him effective in the first place. Plus, Chicago would likely give him more personnel control and he wouldn't have to deal with Dan Snyder.

I get a nice spread of Ravens@Steelers, Broncos@Eagles, and Panthers@Giants. Going to be keeping a trained eye on that last one.
