How long has he been saying that in his entrances?
I think it's kinda awesome, but this week's Smackdown was the first time I've noticed it.

Since he was exposed to cosmic rays and turned into the powerful yet hideous meth head-looking hobo.

Well I've only HEARD him saying it RECENTLY. I wonder why.... !!!! He's said it since his indy days, circa 2001-2004. Why? I think he just likes some comic books.

Yeah he always does it. Even in his ECW debut match back when they still had that "through the crowd" thing going:

He's really emphasized it recently, at the PPV and on Smackdown.

There's no doubt in my mind that Punk would not be where he is today in the company if he didn't debut in front of the smark crowd of the Hammerstein and get the hero's welcome he did.

Looks like the same won't be happening with Danielson this time around, unfortunately. We should also thank Paul Heyman for Punk's rise when he was on ECW, since he was very behind Punk when he was still around. Looks like old school ECW made Punk in the WWE.

Shane McMahon? And how in the world would we connect Punk and the Burchills? Burchills are the only male / female siblings in the present WWE I can think of besides Shane and Stephanie, and Shane's more than once been compared to Reed Richards.

They really need to have shows in the Ballroom again. I know after the Big Show/Batista match it wont happen but a show like ECW could really use a smark crowd who like actual wrestling. Keep EZ and Kozlov off the show and I dont think theres anyone they could really rip on

Well I've only HEARD him saying it RECENTLY. I wonder why.... !!!! If you look at older WWE stuff you can see him doing the 'looking at imaginary watch' movement, only now the camera is close and focused on him to yell 'IT'S CLOBBERIN TIME' all heel-ish.
